DONIC ORIGINAL TRUE CARBON INNER - The inside secret
A blade for players looking for control but with the acceleration to suddenly attack in decisive moments. The materials used and method of production are absolutely first class!
Donic has used the same high-quality plies as in the DONIC ORIGINAL TRUE CARBON, which is already a classic. Additionally, the TRUE CARBON INNER with Hybrid Aramid Carbon includes a completely new carbon ply. This is not placed under the outer plies but completely embraces the inner plies. The result is a softer touch and even more control than with the TRUE CARBON but with slightly less speed.

My first inner carbon blade.
Not as fast as I thought. Apparently you need to pair it with modern rubbers to get really high loop speed. The koto top layer is giving you a low, but well balanced, throw. Smash speed is quite high however.
Control is fantastic.
The straight grip is perfect in my opinion. Blade quality and finish is very good with respect to the price.
Need to try out a limba top inner carbon, and perhaps a hinoki too - to figure out which inner carbon that suits me best. Until then, my favourite blade so far.
The speed rating of donic is false for me (ar+), this is fast blade for an inner, even more than 36.5 alxi on passive shot. But the control is insane, very easy to opening loop, flip, counter. The only flaw if we compare it to a butterfly alc would be the sweet spot, the rebound is a little different if you tap on the sides of the blade. In receive game, the control is ok for a blade like this. If we compare with boll ALC or outer with koto, you can be passive on receive. If I compare to this blade, it's because the feeling on hand it's pretty close for me (because of koto ?), with less speed and lot more control. But those who have already tried an ALC blade must understand the feeling, that of having the ball in the hand, this little vibration. It is still less pronounced on the DOTC. The throw angle of the blade is not high, the ball go long.
In terms of rubbers, i played with R48 on FH and Xiom Omega 7 euro in BH. Normally I don't like hard rubbers, but I think this wood is better suited to hard rubbers. Having tried the r48 on other blades, I thought that this rubber was average, but with this wood everything seems easy on FH, very good spin in opener compare to 36.5 alxi or primorac wood. Really worth testing for price, 50 euros on promotion in France. Sorry for the average English.

Butterfly Marcos Freitas - But with less delay and lower throw, similar speed
Donic Waldner Senso Carbon - Very similar feel, but faster and less woody overall and less dwell
Joola Santoru Outer KLC - Faster and more potent than the Inner. Similar Kevlar feel.
