Blade: GEWO Power Allround is a well balanced all wood-five ply table tennis blade. Made in China, this blade weighs between 82-84 grams and has a speed rating of all-round plus. The handle is flared and designed to fit into your hand comfortably. Rubber: GEWO Mega Flex Control, an International Table Tennis Federation Approved rubber with 2.0 thickness. Megaflex Control is a medium speed quality German-made table tennis rubber. The 2.0 sponge thickness gives high spin while the medium hard sponge is a slightly elastic sponge which produces great control for the developing player. The combined weight of the racket: 160-168 grams. Question Why a custom-made racket? Answer: A custom-made racket enables one to change the rubber sheets when they wear out. Pre-Assembled racquets are manufactured so that when the rubber tears or wears out, one throws out the entire blade. Over an extended time, owning a custom-made racket becomes less expensive than a pre-assembled racquet, because one only has to replace the rubber top sheet and not the entire blade. It is also more environmentally friendly as you keep and re-use the wood blade. Assembly Process: We custom make the racket by taking two fresh sheets of rubber and affixing them to the wood blade, cutting the rubber, and putting on edge tape. We cut the rubber smoothly, leaving a smoothly finished and great looking racket, that has its own distinctive feel and play.
