I do not know why a whole load of people have not clicked into the tenaly blades. The angled handle is a huge improvement for both ease of backhand and forehand shots and this blade is overall brilliant. I didn't like the flared handle which is the only one they do so sliced it off and built my own grip styled on the tibhar lebesson anatomic grip. Then I started altering my other blades to angled handles .... the tibhar lebesson, stiga energy wood and my latest the tibhar stratus power wood - they are all good but the Nittaku is the best. I use rasanter R47 and fastarc G1, sometimes joola rhyzm 425 and P: Great rubbers. But do try the tenaly style blade - it could do wonders for your game. The speed, control, stiffness and weight are all pretty much perfect, at least for me.

I've owned the Nittaku Tenaly Acoustic and loved the feel of the ergonomic handle in my hand. It just sits and hangs on my middle finger and allows a looser grip on the handle. After a going back to the traditional handles for a few years and improved my game with carbon, I decided to go back to the Tenaly/ergonomic handle. This time, I wanted a carbon variation to go along with it but didn't want to break the bank. Enter the Nittaku Tenaly Carbon. At $90, this blade was a great value. BH rubber - TSP Super Ventus, FH rubber - Victas V15 Extra. My backhand improved dramatically due to how light the blade was! My forehand, however, was a bit more difficult to keep on the table. I had to make my stroke a bit more compact since the ball just shoots off the racket. Spin was great and speed was great. Another gripe I have about this blade is that the feel in my hand isn't as good as the Nittaku Tenaly Acoustic. Other than that, this is a great value blade for those looking for the ergonomic handle, light blade, and in need of a speed upgrade.

Forehand is amazing. I will never go back to regular blades.
It opens your backhand, but once you get used to it, its good.
