Reviews of Stiga Energy Wood WRB V2 (6)

Just love it with Rakza 7 Soft rubbers. Although I've been playing for 30 years, I'm coming from a carbon wood difficult to control when being in a bad day. I love playing with spin and I do all I want with this Stiga. Defense, loops, smash, blocks... And I'm producing a lot of spin with my Rakza's. Not a pure offensive wood, but can do anything according to the rubbers used.

My second blade, after coming from a carbon one. Wooden is much more suitable for late beginner / intermediate like me, more dwell time, less stiff and easier to control.
At one point, felt like it might be too heavy for me to lift underspin with BH flick.
However, it was due to my poor technique, of using wrist only instead of whole body / forearm.
After trying a much lighter one, I came back to this one because I appreciate it's weight, stability and control.
The speed is just right for me, not too fast / uncontrollable, but very capable of finishing points off with more power. I don't think it has too much vibration, but I don't find it necessary. Quite a balanced good quality blade. Both looping and short touches feel easy. I recommend it as a first blade, and I'll probably be using this blade for as long as I play, because I'm used to it and it suits me well.

Excellent Blade, this is my second real blade, after hours of usage, it still feels light for me, I don't have a measurement tool but it is light on my hand, maybe my first blade was too heavy.
Nice pop! Nice sound during splashing

Bois pour dbutant, peu ou pas de vitesse, beaucoup trop lent pour moi...
J'ai jou avec la V1 et il n'y avait rien a voir... ici on a l'impression que la balle est en plomb...
