Tibhar Fortino Pro DC Inside is a modern offensive blade – catapult friendly, balanced, plenty of feel and flexible. This blade combines both the advantages of the high-tech fiber Dyneema® with those of carbon fibers. Ultra-light and super-strong, the strength to weight ratio makes the Dyneema® fiber the strongest fiber in the world, and consequently provides extreme stability. Vibration is reduced to a minimum, the sweet spot of the blade is dramatically increased and in conjunction with the selected blade layers, reinforced with fibers, a very even ball rebound is generated. Dyneema® fibers confer precision and dynamism, while providing your topspin strokes with the necessary penetrating force, even when you are far from the table. The position of the fibers directly above the core veneer, combined with a natural wood composition prolong the ball contact time, making the touch much softer than with Fortino Pro, where the Dyneema® carbon structure is further outwards. Reviews of Tibhar Fortino Pro DC Inside (1)
I really like the Tibhar Dynamic JC so I wanted to try this Fortino Pro DC inside as it has a similar composition. Playing characteristics are the same, but build is a clear upgrade from JC. The box is classier, the handle is slightly larger and has a better finish, the wings are rounded. The wood itself is visibly of higher quality than any other blade I own. Better build quality than any BTY. In the box is included a small sample of Dyneema fibers, that's a nice detail! Fortino Pro is made in Germany (same factory as Soulspin and German-made Nittaku blades). I paid it only 20 euros more than JC so really a good deal, but full retail price is too expensive unless you value the German making.
