The soft version of Nimbus will definitely impress all players who like playing with very soft offensive rubbers. Nimbus Soft with its 37,5° sponge hardness has exceedingly perceptive ball control and was developed in such a way that, even in extreme playing situations, it will provide a large margin for technical error. The very small speed loss is more than compensated by the enormous increase of control this rubber provides.

Speed: 100
Spin: 99

Reviews of Tibhar Nimbus Soft (11)

It's a good rubber but didn't worked out for me as I was using it on a soft and flex blade (septear) which effected consistency very negatively. Good for medium hard blades. Fast but not too fast. Good spin and decent control. Lots of gears, good for pushes and short game. Low throw makes it difficult to loop heavy backspins sometimes. Durability is most bothering. Wears out quickly, after only a month of using it on forehand the top sheet started cracking and the strokes became more and more inconsistent with detorioration of Speed. This was despite the fact that i only play for an hour or so twice, or sometimes, thrice a week. Spin however was preserved. Changed the rubber to Acuda S1 Turbo and very happy with it

This rubber is amazingly controllable and it has so many gears but a slight bit slower than the other faster /normal tensors. But the speed is there when you want it. It is highly forgiving and gives you the confidence and the consistency to go for your shots. If there are weakness to this rubber, it would be the spin is not that tremendously high on the first ball so you have to rely more on your speed and skill than spin on your serves. One the other hand it also means your returns and ability to handle spin is quite high which makes up for it. The durability is also another factor that makes it a bit of an expensive buy. But overall a great rubber well worth its price and something you cannot go wrong with. my ratings would be speed: 84, Spin: 78 Control: 89

Moved from Xiom Vega Elite to Nimbus soft. NS is lighter, bit slower and have more control. Same spin. Same hardness. Easier to play, my game improved. Use both in for and backhand, RBP. Good rubber for close the table. I use in a powerfull Hinoki Speed 90, so I can smash some far and still take a good shot. But when I want, I use only the rubber in short game and it has lots of control, the ball falls just after the net with short drives. Easy to put the ball wherever you want. Suited for all round player.

I played Nimbus Soft 1.8 and 2.0 for 2 years on different blades (Stiga Clasic WRB Off, Andro Kinetic Supreme All+) and I'm quite happy with this rubber.
I played it on both FH and BH, everytime I tried something else on the BH i came back to the Nimbus Soft. I gives a lot of control, it's quite fast, and it is spinny. You can get a lot of spin on your serves
