Reviews of Victas Koji Matsushita ZC (2)
*Victas Koji Matsushita ZC is a high quality blade.
*This blade has medium flex and very good for spin oriented game (chop/loop).
*Handle feels really comfortable in the hand.
*Looks premium.
-CONS:
*You can definitely attack with this blade but I prefer more stiffer Victas Koji Matsushita Offensive blade. Due to the flex, smashes tend to be catapulted behind the table from time to time which was never a problem with VKM Offensive blade.
I wish it would be more stable during power smashing close to the table.
*Has two gears medium and fast. I am still trying to figure out how to control it. That is why I see some inconsistency in my game during attack (smash) since I started using ZC version blade.
I have both Victas Koji Matsushita Offensive and ZC blades an can compare them both.
*VKMO blade is stiff and better for attack style of play(smash/drive/loop). Chop is average. Thickness of the blade 6.0mm thick, 95gr.
*ZC on the other hand is better at spin oriented game with better loop and chop performance.
Smash is not always lands on the table due to the catapult and flex of the blade. This blade is 5.5mm thick, 87gr.
Conclusion:
*If you play close to medium distance by using pips to set up an attack with smooth rubber and win the point then VKM Offensive blade is the blade to go. It is stable and relatively fast. It is basically oversized OFF- blade.
*If your style is spin oriented and you play far away from the table with spiny chops and loops, then definitely go with KMO ZC.
This blade let you generate 10-15% more spin that VKM Offensive blade with the same rubber.
Personally, I decided to go back to Victas Koji Matsushita Offensive since it suits my style of play better.
It is stiffer/stable and provide more control during power smash close to the table.
Overall, it all comes to your personal style of play and ability to control the ball with your t.t. racket.
