This is my second jpen blade. I had before a TSP 7-8 mm one that vibrate a lot during shots, so I searched for a more consistent one, with more quality, of hinoki 10 mm. I was searching for Hasha Gold, but it was discontinued, so this is the top Jpen blade Yasaka has in the market today. Its sweet spot is bigger than Hasha gold, but less stiff. I was very impressed. It provides you a lot of control but also great firm shots when smashing. The cork has good quality (good for who sweat a lot). For who has long fingers, it can touch the painted in black wood in the back. I am a hitter/smasher, but I also love to plays with touching shots while blocking. So it is the perfect choice when handling blocks and changing directions until you have an opportunity to explode in power with your drives. After all, not all have the stamina of Ryu Seung Min to always play forehand shots. I paired this blade with Joola Dynariz acc, Rasanter R48 and now I went for more hard rubber, Donic bluestorm Z1 turbo. I tried to glue a OX long pimps behind but don't do it. It becomes pretty heavy. The blade, afterall, is amazing for me. I don't know if it would play well for a looper instead. Didn't rate 10/10 because I had the opportunity to try a Darker 10mm and a Ryu-Seung Min blue, which are way faster and stiffer ones. And I know the best in the market today is Butterfly g-max (but man, it is crazily expensive)! For the price, I am sure it was the best I could buy. No regrets!
