I have this rubber on a sports game pro hornet series paddle, my back hand is a black 2.0m nittaki fastarc g-1 and my forehand is and ultra max r37 rasanter. I can tell you if your forehand is weak and you need control with it this rubber is the one to get. Since I've been using it I've seen my forehand become more consistent. I'm not afraid to open up and use power with this rubber on my forehand. (Great Control and the Spin is Awesome). If you are like me and before scared to let loose thinking to much bounce or pushing too much off the table You are going to love this one because of the power combined with the control. Your service game too will make you smile when using it. I like it!

Two words for this rubber AMAZING FEELING!. just tried the Rasant Powersponge and the Rasanter R37, not much difference in sponge softness. but the R37 does have higher throw angle. SPIN is just perfect for backhand .
This is my first review so forgive me if I'm saying something wrong. I'm using this rubber for a few weeks in FH and BH. I can feel a perfect control of the boll in all aspects. Better with quite fast blades as compensation of a lack of speed. The combination of this rubber in a fast blade (really fast as Butterfly Garaydia ZLC/T5000 or Stiga 290/ 245) is awesome, perfect control with a quite good speed. The spin is also good because of the dwell time due the soft sponge.
Did not like this so much. It is VERY soft, and the ball goes easy in to the wood when striking hard, lso not so much spin as the others when sidepin or or topspin, and especially powerloops. Sure it is good for ypung player that strts to be good, and have passed the first rubbers...But good control!
Someone asked me about the differences about R37 and R42 and if i Had any experience with Butterfly 05fx or Donic blue fire M3 or JP-03 to compare with. Here is my answer:
"My setup is:
FH: R42 max (2.3mm)
BH: R37 max (2.3mm)
Blade: Yasaka Sweeden Extra (5 ply All+)
Control: R37 is more controllable than R42, but both have superb control
Spin: R37 = R42 on spin, not much a difference here.
Speed: R37 isn't the fastest rubber but it has an ok speed, but it's awesome to improve your techniques. I love this rubber. R42 is a bit faster but isn't so fast too.
Both have a greet dwell time, so It's enjoyable to play with. The throw angle of the R42 is higher than the R37, so the ball tends to get over the table more on R42, but hey, as I said, they are both super controllable.
A friend of mine when played with my R37 he got in love and bought one for him. He likes it a lot.
I have no experience on the rubber you said. I had a tenergy 05 before. It's a beast! You can do wonders with it, but its hard to tame. T05 is for advanced players. A lot of spin, really fast, not controllable.
I went from a fast setup in the past for a all+ setup. Why? To get more and more consistent in my game and to get better on my techiniques. It was a wise decision. I don't regret it."

I tried this one on my BH to see if it could replace my R42. If you like soft rubber but need speed, this is very good.
It feel harder than the 37, and little faster than Rasant Grip. Spin really good( apparentely like the whole Rasanter serie)
And the control is really great! Perfect block and underspin. You've got to get use to it for flicking, but i think it's not it's main strength.
Defending with this one is quite correct for an attacking rubber, but far from the table, it's difficult to come back with an aggressive counter.

Less speed, less spin than rasant. If u like to spin, this is not the rubber. This is rubber for control, high dwell time but less spin, elastic topsheet, soft sponge.
Amazing rubber I love it since my first game with it.
I can do whatever I want.
A lot of control and enough speed.

I was forced to switch to R37 from Rasant Powersponge which had been discontinued, unfortunately.
So, in a review there are my feelings of comparison between the two. Mostly I am disappointed. The R37 is overall a decent rubber. But it lacks several key features which I had loved Powersponge for:
Most of the negative feelings result from the simple fact that R37 feels significantly harder, meaning:
- it requires better footwork to make good topspin (in other words, it is less "error-tolerant")
- it is worse in short game: I felt the same when used to switch from Evolution FX-P to EL-P
Additionally, blocking "style" is different, and to my opinion, R37 is worse in this component too.
As a kind of subtle compensation, the serve appear spinnier with R37, but is is clearly not enough.
Overall, the rubber lacks the "uniqueness" of Powersponge and behaves more like a softened Stiga Mantra S or slightly softened Evolution EL-P.
Good rubber, but Powersponge was simply much better for me.

Slightly faster than Rakza 7 Soft, with a slightly softer sponge. Plays better (more ping) than R7S due to it's thicker sponge IMO. Obviously it's very soft, so don't buy expecting 'medium' soft. Speed is a bit slower than XIOM Vega Europe, and with higher throw angle than the XVE. The topsheet itself feels harder (or maybe just wider pip structure) than say XVE, and is very high quality, which makes for a fairly durable rubber, not factoring in the softer sponge underneath. However, I've decided i don't like harder (or wider pip) feeling topsheets. If high control and/or technique tweaking is something you desire, it's quite nice, providing you don't mind the topsheet. Also great for developing touch/feeling on serves, over the table play and open-ups. But remember it's soft, and it will bottom out if you're hitting the ball with any force on either wing. When moving further from the table, it does begin to suffer from being too soft and a harder sponge would be helpful to avoid bottoming out.

Softest of the Rasanter Series. Very forgiving can block really well. Suited for the Poly Ball! Spin is amazing too. The best part is the Control much better than Acuda s3 or rakza soft
11/20/2017:Amazing control, net play is amazing.Spin is also amazing, not the spiniest.....not like Baracuda...but good enough. This speed+spin allows me to loop....as I can have great blade speed, hit with power and still loop the ball down.I think for me the best thing about this rubber is the amazing CONTROL.Not very sensitive to incoming spin.I am using it on a fast blade-Yinhe T11+
Update-Just similar to old RASANT BEAT

An upgrade from Rasant Beat,
Soft and Perfect Control, a bit harder due to the ultramax sponge. Nice sound while hitting too.

The R37 is the softest Rasanter rubber among its brothers. It has a more firm sponge compared to the Rasant Beat and also several notches faster. It is a more of a control type of rubber. It is only mildly fast that even intermediate players at max sponge thickness can control it. The ball sinks deeply into the sponge when you are hitting hard against hit however, it requires a bit of effort to spin and loop drive. Smashes are medium fast but very easy to control. Blocking is the best feature for this rubber. This would be an excellent blocking rubber due to being soft and insensitive to incoming spin. Weight = 63 grams uncut
Physical:
well packaged in typical modern rubber style. Rubber has a softer feel to it. Top sheet is very thin with very short pips. It is extremely grippy, like most of the stuff getting out of ESN these days. It even has minor tackiness to it.
Speed:
very good speed in terms of mid distance play, and general blocking game. If you go very far away from the table, some that speed fades due to rubber being soft on very hard hits, but if you keep your power at medium than you do retail speed and control.
Spin:
very high with lower impact swings. One of the better spinning euro rubbers at mid distance and mid power of swing. It is not an ideal rubber for a 3rd ball attack, but again for mid distance rubber is fantastic.
Recommendation:
this would be recommended as a BH rubber to almost all control players who play one or two meters away and do not have extreme power hits. The way I would think about this is: mid distance and mid power perfection. Heavy FH loopers as well as extreme flick players could benefit more from some other rubbers
Have fun and enjoy TT!!!

Tried 2.0 on the forehand side of Butterfly Garaydia ZLC. This rubber works 100% as advertised. Very easy to lift up any balls with decent amount of spin. A little bit slow but not as much as I worried before. Would like to see how long the lifetime is.
The sponge is too soft and creates variations on placement, especially on harder hits. Tensioned topsheet also makes it slightly harder to be accurate. It does allow a relatively longer dwell time to perform shots though. It is light, which is a big plus if you want to lower your setup weight.
I tried this in black, 2.0mm sponge. Tested as backhand rubber on a Yinhe MC-4 carbon blade. I'm comparing this to the TSP Ventus Soft, 1,8mm (35deg). Just one session so far. Just bouncing the ball on R37 after gluing, is a quite nice feeling, trying to feel the spin and so. VS feels a bit more springy/bouncy and perhaps it answers a bit better when spinning the ball. Playing: Topspin feels a bit harder to do with R37 than VS. The ball doesn't dig into the R37 in the same way as VS. Less marigin for errors. The short game is perhaps a bit better than VS, because the bounciness in the VS. Blocking is where I think R37 really shines and countering play. If you play it passive, it's slow and if you play actively you can set quite good speed to the countering. Feels a little bit like the Tibhar Aurus Sound, but with a bit better grip.
9.3/10 for OFF style. FH/BH: Andro Rasanter R37, 2.3mm, 44g (0.217g/cm^2), 37 degrees (ESN), 32 degrees (Shore A). Blade: Butterfly Zhang Jike Super ZLC, 90g, 157mm x 150mm x 5.6mm (Width x Height x Thickness). Plies: 7 (5 Wood + 2 Composite): Koto - SZLC - Limba - Kiri - Limba - SZLC - Koto.
Gran caucho, lo utilizo en revs... Es muy difcil fallar si lo utilizas en una espada no muy rpida, puedes arriesgar muchas veces seguidas.. Impresionante!
Im using r37 on BH, i think this is best controlled rubber what i tried, its soft, very good spin, but not best and good power. rubber is really light so you can save some grams on weight.
Rubbers that I have used: Razka X, Razka 7S, Battle II, Mendo, Super 999, Desto F1, Andro 37 and Andro 42.
This is the best BH rubber for me. Spin and speed is crazy + very good control and feeling.
A bit spinner and faster than my Razkas, a bit less than Battle II but I love Andro more because of natural rubber scent.
My style: RPH Looping/Attacking Player. Focus on spin and placement.
Updated Review: it lasts very long (6 months already) and still performs well =))))

Perfect for BH. I switched from Rasant Beat. Just like Beat but more power. The control are the same. Very low throw mean block is automatic. It is easy to flick, it can almost top spin any thing. Very comfortable to play with.
