I would say it is just better Viscaria suited for modern off style but it does not have same feeling as Viscaria if you are a looper you should buy DHS long 5 but only if you have good feeling of your blade now sorry if bad english Iam from Poland

After 4 years playing a DHS Malong 3 (7ply all wood) i felt that it was time to try something new. The ML Long 3 is a fantastic blade with lots of feeling and the speed was good, however it has not that sharp edge that could make a difference of finishing the point. One of my friend changed to an Innerfirce ALC blade, which was astonishing well control and has the potential to make a difference. The FZD ALC is more direct compared to the ML3 and Innerforce ALC. It didn't expect that for such an offensive blade the control (it grabs the ball for a moment) and release the power when you strike hard or put the ball short and low (just over the net) if needed. And the is quite remarkable because I'm playing with T05, which is known for its bounciness. On my fh I played with dignics 80. Which on a ML3 blade was purely a rocket. But with the FZD ALC blade I can generate more spin (due to that noticable moment of grap and relese). BH Chiquita is direct and could be dangerous fast. FH mid distance loop is easily due to the built in grap and power release. Service is extremely spinny (due to that grab aspect )

Nice control and is balance. Good for short and mid. Im adjusting with long balls. But still wins game play.

Not Amazing blades, still better than LGY ALC and Otcharov ALC in its class. Sorry.

The best alc blade I've ever tried so far. I tried lin gaoyaun alc, dhs hurricane long5/5x, viscaria super alc. Nothing come close to this blade. This blade is not picky when it comes to rubbers. You can put any rubbers on this blade and will perform fine. Buy this blade if you like big handles.

Phenomenal blade. Beautiful and grippy handle. Very similar to Viscaria. Great feel for the ball. I have H3National on FH and D05 on BH. Only downside is that it’s heavy.

Looping oriented! Paired with T05 on FH - best combination. For BH I have V22 double extra - offer more dwell time if you lack good technique. Can generate a lot of spin and for big guys like me it helps with initial kick which is good for not so agile legs and torso. World class quality. Catapult+ spin + speed + decent amount of feel and good control. No cons for me.

Decent Blade for a intermediate player

Obviously, this blade is blowing up now because it is advertised and named after world number 1, and in my opinion, best player ever: Fan ZhenDong. Comparing it to regular viscaria since they are both ALC blades with same composition. I feel like FZDALC is more controllable, but a bit lacking in speed compared to the viscaria. Both generate good amounts of spin, but sometimes it depends on the rubber and traction choices too. For rubber choices, recommend harder rubbers (I use T05H) on FH, and Medium to Medium-Hard rubbers (I use T64/ T19). For intermediate players, use Donic Baracuda both sides you won't regret that decision.
