Really nice blade, I’d say it’s a touch slower than the viscaria. Definitely has more vibration than the viscaria which gives a nice feeling and feels nice for blocks. I’d say it has a bit more control. The handle is fatter than the viscaria handle which I don’t love cause my hands are small and it’s noticeably a bit heavier but you can get used to it quite easily.

I've been playing with Ovcharov's the blade since it hit the market. I chose it after research and the need I had for my playstyle. Before that I played with Timo Boll ZLC. My blades on both sides were Tibhar evolution MX-P max. Excellent combination on both blades. I did not like the vibration when driving with the ZLC, and the Ovcharov blade with its thicker structure completely eliminated this drawback for me. After over two and a half years of playing with the Ovcharov blade I can say that it is an extremely well balanced blade with a very good feel and great power and speed. After seven years of playing with Tibhar evolution MX-P max rubbers, I combined the blade with DHS GoldArc 8 H47.5 max, which give much better spin than the MX-P, and are almost identical in speed and feel. So the combination of this great blade with these DHS rubbers is perfect for me. I wouldn't trade this blade for any other! You can't go wrong if you try it, it's worth it for sure.

Butterfly Dimitrij Ovtcharov
FH : Dignics 09C
BH : Dignics 05, later change to Donic Bluestorm Z2

This is the blade that makes me seriously consider using innerforce fiber in all my future games. You can expect the speed from carbon blade, with good control because the inner fiber placement.

Been using it for 1 year, overall very well balance blade. Looping create heavily spin, and flat shot is where this blade truly shine. You can even give a flat shot in heavily underspin ball (probably because of its weight). Dwell time is better than TB ALC. For rubbers its advisable to use medium thickness rubber (my game is better when changing to Donic), otherwise the feeling of grasping the ball is lacking. For blocking, you need good technique otherwise the ball will go over the table.

For the drawbacks, is the weight and handle size. Paired with Dignics on both sides, its too heavy for my liking (around 195 grams). And the handle size also an issue for me, somehow its kinda hard to maneuver quick change from FH to BH, become a problem in quick / short games.

Overall very nice quality blade and design, rate 9/10

Unbelievable blade.

Loads of control whilst being able to keep good speed.

Would highly recommend

The Best Blade I Tried. Better than Viscaria, Timoboll, or other ALC blades.

Really nice blade. This blade is awesome for backhand. Unfortunately the handle of this blade is way too big for me and sanding the handle down to size made this blade really head heavy. Awesome blade if you have big hands.

Amazing blade, the best I've ever used and I've used a lot of frames, mostly Butterfly. I use it with Tenergy 05 2.1 FH and Tenergy 05 1.9 BH. It's fairly fast but because of tremendous control it doesn't feel so fast. Blocking, flat hitting and smashing is very easy. It's also better close and mid to the table, far from the table it lacks a bit power and spin. I would recommend this blade to anyone with allround/attacking style.

The Ovtcharov ALC is a well-balanced blade, and it aims at the short court. However, compared to the current series of Butterfly’s ALC such as Lin Gaoyuan ALC, CNF, and Super Lin Yunru, the version of Ovtcharov has a little more attacking range.

Controllable speed with a nice soft touch for ball placement. Very explosive and violent when powering the ball. Outstanding when blocking. Good at pushing, flicking & opening up. Using medium hard rubbers and the blade performs very well. Weight leaning a little toward the head of the blade. Good at looping, smashing, drop shots & kill shots. Best Butterfly blade I've used in a long time and it is designed for the modern game with a good amount of weight and size (keep in mind that flared handle blades weigh a tad more than straight handle blades). Weight equals more power. Flared handle fits in your hand and feels very comfortable (not to big or not to small but just right). Blade is very nice looking and well designed with top craftsmanship. Need good skills and technique to handle it (not for beginners). Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Blocking control looping it is simply flawless

Very nice new inner-fiber blade from Butterfly. Blade weight is a little heavy coming in at 96 grams (flared handle more weight) but the weight isn't noticeable because it is well balanced and the weight helps in the modern game because the 40+ ball is a little heavier. The gorgeous blade can be as powerful as you want it to be depending on the rubber used. I applied Tibhar Evolution MX-S Max on both sides (heavier hard sponge) and the blade weight is 204 grams now. The flared handle is very smooth and comfortable. Great touch and feel. Ball placement comes easy as long a proper technique is used. Blocks very well and counter-attacking is good. Good at top spin, pushing, and open-ups. Gorgeous blade comes in a very attractive box. Give it a try.

best recommendation for players who like blades with high speed but still very easy to control. I think this blade also has the power to play long distances, because of its thicker size. my best blade after using viscaria for several years. but this is better because there is more modern thinking and technology in it

Harganya Lumayan Mahal...

Balanced, good control allows good blocks being 6.2mm thickness. Improved innerforce for the contemporary table tennis but control on standart innerforces is better.

Unbelievable Blade

The blade is thick, head heavy and hard. Not a lot of vibration. Played with sieger pk50 both sides first, then with two d09cs. Its innerforce type of construction but the ball springs out with the speed of an outer carbon blade. Not for gentle play, powerhouse style only. It feels heavy with heavy rubbers, because of a weight that goes to the tip of the racket. When you apply power and in perfect position - the quality of the balls will be outstanding. Good pick for the one who has power, good skills, and inserting in all shots. Something medium of Timo Boll alc and Harimoto alc, very good speed with some extra dwell of innerforce. Overall good and nice looking blade, premium quality. Worth of EGing purchase and adding it to my collection

I have tried many bases and many overlays. This blade is not rotten like many blades, including Butterfly blades. Compared to viscaria, it is more lively, interesting, controlling, creates more rotation, higher arc, with minimal vibration. This is one of the best blades I've tried, top limbo, spin is very good, but not for beginners blade, quite fast, don't want to switch boards after it. The stable slip zone is large enough.

When is this blade coming back to Indonesian?

Currently running it with DHS Hurricane 3 NEO Provincial (39 deg Blue Sponge - Unboosted) and DHS Hurricane 3 NEO (37 deg Orange Sponge - Unboosted). Has exceptional feeling when looping / top-spinning the ball. Good at looping close to mid-table distance. Backhand requires more power, but that could be because of the rubber choice; however is good when you’re actively defending. I am considering to switching to Dignics 05 to have a more offensive backhand.

But in general, the blade does require sufficient technique to get the most out of it.
