great for chopping, lots of backspin, but note that durability is bad, rubber wears out very quickly - it may claim a gold medal in a contest of undurable defensive rubbers

The best rubber for chopper. I use this rubber in my first 3 years learning to play table tennis. I have a lot of good memories with this rubber. I recommend this rubber for beginner player to find a good concept of play and learning basic strokes.

Rubber fantastic for people who like to defend with a chop.
I have combined with a blade ARTTE NUVOLA and is a very precise rubber, easy to use and with great reversal.

This is my 1st chopping rubber, before trying chop 2.

I just don't like the ball flight compared to tack chop 2, because the back spin is too obvious and the ball fly too high that is easier to return compared to tack chop 2.

Great backspin :-)

Serves are excellent, full of spin.

Amazing spin, professional rubber. Not too fast though

Thin sponged version 1.1 makes more backspin than thicker sponge version,if you want more topspin ability take a 1.3-1.5 and still retains good chiselling properties provided you clean it regularly to retain the tack.Too reactive to spin on serve return as you go up the levels and lp is a better option for backhand...I still like this though and revisit every once in a while

Good for serve return, block and chop however do not choose less than 1.8mm sponge thickness because it's too slow and can set up opponent for an attack. And its terrible away from the table for any kind on attacking shot and the throw angle is too low. Overall Average rubber good for club player, only use on backhand.

Its a good defensive rubber or a rubber for a begginer that is learning the basics has a good throw angle and u can generate lots of spin with it

I am a chopper who uses fh only to perform fh chop, block or attacks when it is an "unmissable" chance, I personally liked it a lot for what I need, great durability, I recommend

I played with tackiness chop 1.9 black on an old Alfa pro model. It gives tremendous spin on stopped balls for serving, excellent chopping, and excellent spin looping. Fast looping moves in slow motion. Phishing requires a lot of effort due to slow sponge. Probably better to chop away from the table, and wait for a push you can spin loop rather than exchange topspins.

Nice spin and control on chops but looping is different, the consistency in looping is way lower than chopping.

It's really cool, now I'm a super fan of this rubber.

It's the best choice for totally defensive player on the forehand. With this rubber, the difficulty of forehand chop goes away !!

And it's good control brings the stability to player. It is very important for a chopper !!!

You can easily make the ball back when opponent plays trick, then keep chopping and defending ^^

It's really an amazing rubber,but, it's a bit slow...
However, for those who yearn for stablity , it's a necessary rubber.

Tack-C is great for FH chops. I was wrong about it being too slow since you can be wristy and it will land with spin..10/10 for FH chop btf T-C on Matshushita Pro.

Really spot on for a defensive rubber. All my backhand chops are perfect with it and serving is a joy.

With thick sponge it can be used quite effectively for offense too but like others have said, prepare for a monster swing if you want to attack. Loads the ball up pretty well and can counter-loop chops if required.

The control is excellent because of the soft sponge. The soft sponge makes it very slow however and I've found myself in difficulty sometimes when defending against smashes. Supports and active playing style but also close blocking.

I truly feel that this is one of the best chopping rubbers out there.

have tried chop 2 and prefer this over it. play with TSP p1-R 0.5mm on my back hand and this rubber is so slow that the pips are speedier, however, chopping a dead ball is a guarenteed point if the opponent tries to loop it back....GREAT control rubber.....little pricey, would probly try 729 judo or cross instead next time....

This rubber is great for players who prefer control over power. It is good for serving and looping because of it's tacky and soft top sheet. It might be slow when you loop but it's pretty spinny as the ball hits the table. It is also great for blocking and placing shots. When you smash the ball, it's kind-of slow but it ensures great control. This is also great when you want to put a lot of backspin when you push/underspin the ball. If you are a player who wants control and doesn't want to miss shots, this might be your kind of rubber.

the butterfly tackiness chop is a fairly slow rubber, it has superb control , as the name says it can be best used for chopping and that is a true word, chopping with this rubber is amazing and so is blocking , it both can be done with great control. It is a rubber which can be best used near the table and it is very light and has a pretty soft sponge, touch and feel shots are no problem at all. Spinning goes very well to, it has good grip on the ball. On a harder blade hitting is ok but on a softer blade it might lack some power.
It is a very long lasting rubber to which makes it worth the money, Very good rubber for defensive our controlled game playing , could be best used on BH

Here is my re-review of my fav inverted rubber. Just a disclaimer but I am a 80% bh lp player so I only use it for serve receive, serves, smashes, chops, quick blocks, hits, fishing and only if I am forced. If I need to keep the ball in play, this rubber allows me to do that well although the 804 has some similar properties too. The 1.5 sponge is the key as it slows the pace compared to other def. rubbers I have. It is not as spinny as a newer sheet of flextra and the tacky sst.

Chop isn't really my game nor is defense for that matter, but this rubber does exactly what it's made for extremely well. Chop has never been so simple. On a different note, this rubber is also very good at developing a slow but spinny and consistent loop. This rubber has such good control due to its softness that this rubber can be used for pretty much anything. Only know that this rubber is extremely slow; it was made for defensive techiques after all. Yes, this rubber was made for the chop in mind, but I say it can be used for the purpose of developing your game if only just because of the high control. Still keep in mind that if it's an aggressive or offensive game you're looking for, you ought not to use this rubber beyond learning at a novice level.

Best Forehand Rubber for defenders. Very spinny and lots of control. With blades like Chen Weixing or Joo Se Hyuk, you can make enogh speed with this rubber (1.9). With Defence Alpha or Matsushita maybe you have to choose an other rubber (NEOS Tacky?)

very good rubber for defense. I use it on my backhand and love it: excellent control, good spin and good speed.

Great for a beginner that wants to play offense and defense. Puts lots of spin on the ball too. Only complaint is after you have used it for a long time, you realize that you will want a rubber with more speed. Still a great beginner/ becoming an intermediate rubber.

This is a very good rubber for choppping/blocking/pushing. It's a very spinny rubber. When glued up it also loops/counterloops well. Also great for beginners because it does everything else well too.

Great for serves as well as slow, extremely spinny chops as well as loops.
