I have used this blade and I feel it is very far from what was expected whre the taste is different, not as informed. I also don't know why they have good reviews on this blade? To be honest, Donic's products that I really really like out of the many blades they produce are Donic Waldner World Champinon 89 and Donic Li ping Kitex

A very light and fast blade with good control.
Forehand and Backhand Fast, strong and with a lot of effect.
I use an MX-P on the Backhand and a Donic Barracuda on the Forehand and I think the blade and these rubbers get along really well.
I could trade an MX-P for a Rakza 7 or Rakza 7 Soft, and a Barracuda for an Andro Rasanter

Blade does it all and fun to play with as long as proper technique is used. Blade weighed 86 grams and with the rubber and side tape it weighed 198 grams (perfect for the modern game). Paired it with Donic Bluestorm Z1 Turbo (Max) on the FH side and Tibhar Evolution MX-P 50 (Max) on the BH side and the rubbers don't seem as hard as one might think. Blocking is a cinch and ball placement comes easy. Great for the counter attacking game. Can play a slow or fast paced game as the need arises. Power and speed is there when you need it and the sound is music to the ears. The flared (concave) handle is very comfortable and feels great in my hand (very smooth). Really like the handle make-up and color one of my favorites. The craftsmanship is top-notch. This is one of my favorite blades along with the Donic Waldner World Champion '89 inner-fiber blade. Great blades for the modern table tennis game. Tabletennis11 has very good pricing for their table tennis products with quality packaging and fast delivery.

Very fast, good control, almost stiff

Great blade for top spin play. Hard surface but some flex makes it looping more comfortable. Good feeling when blocking. I pair it with Vega Pro (FH) and Rigan (BH). Great combination.

This blade is AMAZING! It's been a long time that I've been looking for a blade that is like a Gergely Classic black tag. Finally, I found it! Feels like Gergely Classic black tag but with more control. The thing is, this is much cheaper than the the cheapest Butterfly carbon blade, half the price cheaper. Must have blade.

compare with Ovtcharov Carbospeed I used to play with it. Legend Carbon made the same construction only reduce thickness to 6.2-6.3mm Carbospeed is 6.7-6.8mm (Primorac Carbon 6.9mm)
this slightly reduce speed and stiffness. yeah! crisp feel of carbon layer upon ball impact when hit harder I got better dwell time for generate spin.
if you have a good attacking control and accuracy timing. Waldner Legend Carbon work best for low arc top spin drive and passive quick return, smash so dangerous weapon also a short quick loop counter-attacks is easy done with this blade. short push no problem. I choose rubbers Donic Bluestorm Z2 this setup play safe, total weight 183g normal. I don't recommend use too soft sponge it will lacks on speed and seriously spin cause of low dwell time.

Weight 92g, found it to fast for me. Would be great with some mark v 's on it.

Great blade for aggressive players. Even with harder rubbers such as Donic's Acuda Blue P1 Turbo, I can slow loop, push the ball short, block with a lot of pace and also finish the point with amazing speed. Requires good technique tho, still strugling a bit sometimes. Lightweight.

EDIT: Once you get the hang of it, the ball goes wherever you want it to go, superb control for such a fast blade!

My wife purchased this blade with a pair of Bluefires (M2 and M3). The Waldner Legend is a nice blade and with an easy to grip handle.

It is fast. It's so fast that I can't use it very well. I'm working up my way to being worthy of this blade.

Wonderful build quality.

The best looping blade in the market! I used Butterfly Mazunov in the past and I'm finding for a looping blade with consistency and this blade never failed me. It has wide head that is capable of putting too many spin in the ball causing extreme difficulties for the opponent. I didn't adjusted too much. I recommend this blade from begginers-pros who require control, speed and spin!

Can't believe Waldner would give his blessing to this fast blade. Only soft sponge rubbers should be used. I tried Tenergy 80FX on FH. Thought it was going to be too fast, but not really. Very easy to do slow loops. loop drives. BH I used Stiga Calibra LT Spin. Nice control. The hinoki allowed me to feel the ball in my shots. FL handle is medium size, very comfortable. Pushshots were nothing special

A very good blade, especially for the price ...

Good speed, nice hinoki feeling
and good arc.

The dwell time could be better, aswell the control on passive shots.

Overall a nice offensive blade

This blade has to be rated with a big 10 in each aspect including the speed, control and sufficient dwell time. Not suitable for hard sponge rubbers, just for medium and medium-soft. Almost identical with Bty Primorac and Bty Gergely (old version). Bravo Donic !!pletely

For my small hands flared handle us the best. Very nice touch and feel to the blade. The carbon for speed and a larger sweetspot and I love the sensation of playing with hinoki blades. Hinoki reduces vibrations. Good for looping topspins counterloops. Away from table or near. The control provided by the blade is more than suitable for blocking and counter hitting. I prefer to spin a lot and it suits me fine with fast counterloops or spinny 3rd ball spinny loop attacks. Perfect weight as well. Well done Donic!

Very septical before the purchase!
Really surprised during the first test!
Absolutaly convinced of this amazing blade!
Control and feel are outstanding!
Speed is sufficient for an off blade!
Definitely my final setup associated with soft rubbers!
A must have Donic product!

This is my first very fast blade. It is a lot faster than I expected. I love looping but it's like I have learn it all over again. I used to have to hit the ball when I looped but now all I have to do is brush it. I still have to learn how to slow this thing down a lot for my short game. When I get to mid distance it is right where I want to be. Going from a off- paddle to this is a drastic chance in speed. If you don't want to spend 200 dollars for a butterfly this would be a very good paddle that will suit your needs.

Really very good Job of Donic. It is out hinoki pliers and one ply carbon. Very good control. Good for hitting, very good for blocking and looping.

For me very nice feel and the same quality of Primorac Carbon for minus price.

Very good blade

Really nice blade from Donic's 2012 range. Soft core, carbon, quite thick outer plies of hinoki. Wood and build quality is incredible for the price, and easily matches Butterfly blades despite being 1/3 of the price of some of them.

Not as fast as Donic advertise, IMO. A really dependable blade, very linear, but has a slight flex at the very top end to add a bit to massive swings far from the table. Short game control is excellent, looping excellent, blocking good, hitting good. No real negatives for me, so as long as you like hinoki-topped blades then you will have no complaints.
