Very good pips for play. And very poor quality. 6 months ... and pips break out.

Really good allround rubber. It favours a more controlled game with a lot of variations in speed rather than spin. Very easy to control the ball at any distance. Chopping is very easy but not very strong, counterattacks are possible with small spin variations. Deception is good, reversal is pretty low. The margin to perform knuckle balls is also high, it drives some of my opponents crazy. Someone once said to me that everytime he had to hit the ball he could clearly read the logo on the ball lol

This is meant to be used away from the table. If you plan on playing with this I recommend watching jian li and mimic his style of play with this.

I can understand why people love this rubber it truly is amazing. I have tried out acouple long pips and I felt the most uncomfortable playing with this one, it appears to be a rubber that you either hate fully or love fully.

Fantastic rubber to use, i have tried many different long pips rubbers such as p1 curl and feint long 3. Cloud and fog 3 is the most varied and easy to use pips. I am a modern defender and i can attack, block and defend with this rubber..i use the 1.0mm sponge in black and i twiddle. I use tenergy 05fx on my forehand on a defensive blade and find it's a great combination of rubbers. Since using cloud and fog 3 i feel i Have improved my game due to the variety of my shots.
Great rubber - highly recommended!!

All reviews for this pips must be updated. It works perfect with polly balls. C&F3 is stiffer and P balls are heawier so it equalize the higer weight. I am using OX on All+ blade. Don't afraid speed of this pips. The reversal after chopping 2-3 m away of table is HUDGE, ball is stopping in point. Easy to serve return, attack or block like inverted. It's not deceptive (at least for me) but it also works perfect in short game. Don't agree with opinions about low control - any shot didn't cause problems. I can say U can use it with succes as a clasic def player or allrounder.

Used on a BTY Joo Se Hyuk blade-It's actually a good long pips rubber and I can block with this pretty well- it's easiest to block loops and kill spin

I have a sheet of DHS Cloud & Fog 3 with a 1.0 mm sponge on a Yinhe T-6 blade. This combination isn't necessarily easy to control, but once I got the hang of it the chops got very deadly. What makes them so deadly is a combination of great spin (depending on your effort) and a very low bounce and trajectory. In other areas of the game it performs nicely but I mostly stick to chopping, which again it excels at. Conclusion: I like the rubber a lot.
Update: after a while of playing it feels too hard and fast to do anything besides chopping.

OK rubber. Lacks a bit of control, but is good to attack ocasionally.

This rubber seems to be misunderstood here. If you are looking for a replacement for frictionless-look elsewhere-you will not be happy, if you are looking to cover up a flaw with a dead rubber-you wont be happy! If you do like to play modern defense, use strokes, attack with your long pips, you will be very, very happy! This long pip is for an active defender-not for an at the table push-chop blocker.

Quite fast and hard pips. It is tacky but also prone to spin - thus its control is low when blocking topspins. Reversal is low even if you chop block topspins.

One of the most disappointing tests of OX pips compared to D.TecS, Dragon Talon, Dornenglanz, ...

This is for modern defensers because with this rubber you can make chop but also you can "attack"

Updated Review.
After using this rubber for two thirds of a season, one word wow!
I use this long pips to hit & drive balls, play close to the table blocks & blocks. Service return is great, I can return any service with ease.
Blocks do give a sort of knuckle effect, when returning side spin I hit/drive the ball which sends the ball back in an "S" motion as it returns over the net.
I am a mid distance player and have this long pimpled out rubber in red 1.0mm on the bh of a Yinhe/Galaxy LQ-2 Def+ blade, which is more like ALL/All+.
I hit drives with my BH from close to around 6 feet back with a great deal of accuracy and hardly had to modify my bh stroke to do so. Thus this confuses opponents as ball tends to skid off there end of the table. I get asked repeatedly what pimples am I using. My FH rubber is DHS G888 2.2mm black. A very good combo as my FH is mainly loop.
If you play a very active all game on your BH with long pimples I recommend these. I will not be trying any other long pimples these are perfect.

I use this rubber mainly for blocking, though when I started I actually could drive backhand with it. Chop blocks produce spectacular backspin, side spin blocks need a little lift to get over the net. The properties of this rubber prohibit smashing, and I just tap high balls with racket perpendicular to table. It cushions against spin on serves, so I like to receive service with it, however, it is next to impossible to generate any spin with this long pips.

At the end of last season I had put the C&F III 1.0mm on my backhad just for fun ... i had a lot of fun, after 1 training i decided to use it on a tournament, I ended up in the semi-finals. the lack of skills of my BH was compensated more than well by the C&F III. I still play with the C&F III, I learned how to chop with it, and attack with it. only 1 per 4 hits comes back. I've played with it on a Stiga Off Clasisc WRB and now on an Andro Kinetic Supreme All+ which appears to be a better combination.

When reading this review please bear in mind that I am not experienced with pips.

While some of my opponents had trouble returning my balls, two good players thrashed me. This hadn't happened when I was using inverted rubbers.

Since the Cloud & Fog rubber seems quite difficult to control, I expect the learning curve to be really long. Switching from inverted rubbers to pips might prove too much for me.

I'm using this rubber for last 4 month im usually not fan of Dhs rubber they are heavy on blades But Dhs Cloud and Fog 3 is really dangerous rubber for your Backhand after hours practise in Robot and game play i used to it and it help me to take point in opponent service and out of table control is really good any pimple out rubber but im done little more on this rubber im take out sponge and glue it again with joola Speed glue and using Carbon Blade its really hard to control but i enjoy really when opponent hit on net again and again !!!!!!!!!!!!

My first long pips rubber. I think this rubber is best for deception. The knuckle balls are outrageous! Seems pretty speedy as well, which can be good and bad.

If modern defensive is your style, this is the rubber to play with, this rubber produces great underspin balls (chops) and its control is greater than expected for a long pips rubber. Away from the table when blocking balls it returns slow deceptive balls with sick knockle, this effect confuses opponents who try to smash the ball but since it comes so slow it throws thier timing off and they smash it wide o into the net. If you decide to buy the rubber be paitient since its hard getting used to it if youve never played with long pips. But once you get used to it your game will improve leaps.
