I always play with tensor rubbers, this is my first tacky rubber. it grabs dust too much, I need to clean and film protect it after session. Everyone said RUBBER for FOREHAND! it's right! I glue it on OFF- soft pure wood blade, somebody said slow rubber, I don't agree H3 Neo speed not bad but overload of spin :) it still fine for BACKHAND loop but very good for block safe landing manytime also the tackiness easy to control counter loop or spin from opponent. short serve a lot of spin. side spin shot so agressive. for strike speed like tensor rubbers upto your physical strength. I will buy it one for backhand. best value for money

Very Good rubber, but you have to use it correctly. When hard hitting the ball, you don't get much power which is good for touch play. When you scrape it, however, you find that the ball speed is incredible and the control is superb. It's also a nasty rubber on serve, because of its tackyness.
All around a very good rubber for int/adv players. I wouldn't advice this rubber for a begginer though, since it punishes lack of perfect technique bery heavily.

Spin
-Serves and short gameplay with this rubber is excellent, I have no complaints whatsoever. It performs well at an awesome price for spin.
Speed
-The speed is decently good, this rubber is mainly meant for slower loops rather than fast topspin drives, but whenever you make a powerful shot there is some speed behind the ball.
Control
-The spong is soft enough to control however you want the ball to move. If you want to push, it'll do it. You want to flip the spin of a ball, it'll do it. You want to loop bottom spin, it'll do it. Literally anything you want to try with this rubber, it will do it. Control with this rubber is excellent.
Looping
-Keeps the ball low with a good arc, and tremendous amount of spin. Easy to loop bottom spin.
Pushes
-Pushing with this rubber is good, no problems in this area.
Flicks
-Awesome! Its so easy to flick with this rubber, puts good spin on the ball with good amount of speed.
Topspin drives
-Its good, but it is easy to overhit shots if you hit the ball to hard at a certain angle.
Forehand or Backhand Compatible
-I think this rubber is best suited for a forehand rubber, I feel like when i first started playing with this rubber I've gotten better gameplay wise while using this rubber on my forehand, it improved my loops and topsin drives and flicks. What more can you ask for? So this rubber is best suited for your forehand.
Conclusion
-I definately recommend this rubber if you are an attacker, its a cheap rubber as well and a good alternative to the tenergy series. You definately get the bang for your buck, purchase the DHS Hurricane 3 NEO, cause it is absoulute FIRE!

Excellent rubber, one of the best on the market for the skilled player. ATTENTION: for the skilled player only. If you do not have proper strokes do not even bother trying this rubber. It requires a full and fast swing, hit with right bat angle to perform its best. But when one is able to do it... beware! Ball hits the table like a missile, making opponents only watch it. I can not say it is my favorite rubber because it demands so much physical effort. I just can not play at the peak during the entire match. But if you are a super fit player, with optimized technique I would recommend this rubber, it is a great offensive weapon.
Non Boosted: black 2.15
Spin: 9.0
Speed: 8.7
Throw: medium low
Durability: 9.0 (hit table hard & topsheet separated, req'd some glue to to fix) still good, very durable, seen old Chinese guys with 3 years+ and barely any damage
Gears: 7.5
Tack: 6.5 (less than skyline TG3 neo)
Good service and receive, trouble looping form far back, required more lower body and reach around side spin
Pushing and flicking were good, looping good, counterlooping bottomed out after rally of looping
Good chopping and backspin pick-up
Good Chinese rubber, unboosted, might boost someday

There always will be two rubbers that every new rubber will be compared to - tenergy 05 and Hurricane 3 neo.
15 years of extreme table tennis and I've done a complete full cycle back to hurricane 3 lol. I use black commercial 2.15mm 41 degree on my forehand and commercial red 2.15mm 37 degree on my backhand. I'm just gonna say this . Hurricane 3 is the best table tennis rubber every made o--Q('.'v) and Ma Long is the living proof. He uses it on his forehand and his back hand and so can you and just visualize and pretend that you are him with every shot you rip lol . Ma Long Best Table Tennis Player of all time. Neo Hurricane 3 is cheap too only like $20 a sheet and all you need is a fast carbon blade, i use a $40 blade and your styling. You will have to play hard and in top form to use this rubber but don't be a lazy ass table tennis is a sport anyways. Play hard and have fun and trust me. Neo hurricane 3 is the only rubber you need !!! Muwahahaha p.s. don't forget to boost it
I am using this this rubber on a wooden blade, without boosting. So, My experience wasn't very different as compared to the expectation. Hard, not very fast, spinny, and super controllable(linear). People who have started taking the game seriously and wish to improve the looping and consistency, this rubber will be super helpful. Plus the pricing is just optimal. However professionals prefer the blue sponge non commercial version, with boosting. Will try H3 on my other blade (viscaria) in future.
This review is for the new formula Hurricane. I use Timo boll ALC with 39 unboosted and boosted. And 40 degree boosted. I'd say the harder you go with hurricane, the better you need with footwork. It has a lick more spin than D09c, and more control. The throw angle is medium and feels very natural. I never had to focus on the arc. Speed is enough for blocks and passive play, but it doesn't shine in that aspect. This rubber is so popular that you just need to spend 20 on a sheet to try out. I think playing unboosted is fine, but a softer sponge is recommended; the hardness of 39 or 38 is better than 40. When boosted commercial hurricane.
The difference between 39 and 40 degree boosted is huge. 39 has more speed on slower spin shots. 40 degree has more spin and power on harder impact balls and counters. The second bounce of these rubbers is extreme, When compared to something like Tenergy 05 you create a faster, lower and spinnier shot. For active play DHS hurricane is almost unbeatable. So much control and spin is hard to pass up. Never had national version to compare, i compare to D09c, T05, Hurricane 2 neo. Hurricane 3 lasts insanely long. Never had problems with new badges or durability.

I've tested this rubber in red, 39 2,2 thickness.
I have also tested the normal Hurricane 3 version (black, 39, 2,15) so I will compare those two.
The blade that I used for testing was an allround 5 ply wood. So it's a flexible and control oriented blade.
I haven't applied any kind of boosting, not even on the H3.
I found the H3 better on forehand. Topsheet of the H3 is tackier than H3N. Comparing with Xiom Omega 7 China Guang, H3 its tackier and has more control, it has the same amount speed on fast swings. The difference is that with slow movements you can get more speed with Omega 7. If you make a slow movement with H3 the ball will go to the net, or sometimes it won't reach the net. The reason some people generaly consider H3 or H3N as being overall slow is because on a normal game situation is really dificult to be always well positioned to make that fast swing.
H3N 39 feels softer and is less demanding than H3. It's not necessarily faster than H3. It's just easier to activate. I didn't like H3N on forehand. I actually bought ir for the backhand and in my opinion it's a very good BH rubber. If was going to use it on forehand I'd choose the 40 or 41 version. Serves and receptions seems to be good with both H3 and H3N, always having more control with H3. I can confirm something I read before considering the throw of the H3N. On average it will have a high throw but it variates according to speed.
The higher the speed the lower the throw. On H3, this kind of variation is much less noticiable.
There's another trend on H3N that right now I can't totally confirm . It should fell softer right out of the package (as a result of the preboosting effect) and the this softness will decrease withing two days. In fact I have noticed this.
The other part of the trend I can't confirm yet. After one week or so (with active trainning), the rubber should feel softer again. It's seems plausible

This is the review for unboosted 41 degree hardness 2.2 mm thickness black rubber. USATT 1750. This review is only for forehand. I started playing with Hurricane 3 new when I was 1100. That time I was using 40 degree hard and 2.15 mm, black and red on both sides. I started to feel the rubber is slow and started trying out different rubbers. I tried 729 FX, Palio red and yellow, Mercury 2, Rasanter 42 and Rakza 7 during past 3 years. Then after some training decided to come back to H3N on TB ALC blade. Been playing with the combination for over 2 months and saw that the consistency and spin on FH loops increased a lot. Maybe because I started playing table tennis with H3N, it just feels right on my FH. TB ALC is one of the best blade for H3N. There is very little margin for error but that makes you play the correct strokes every time (a.k.a. no more love tapping). Of course serves and pushes are better with tacky rubber such as H3N. After some practice, you can return even a long push short. Best return for the efforts you put in. If someone wishes to use this rubber, I would recommend atl-east 3-4 months practice before the tournament. Otherwise the "slowness" or the lack of correct FH technique will frustrate you.
Ratings for 2.15mm. Incredible value, very popular for a reason. Very good for powerful loops. Short game is excellent.
To the people writing it is slow, they must have wrong technique. If you swing fast, you hit fast. If you swing slow, you hit slow.
For spinning it's a fantastic rubber, but I can also easily push, block or smash. I always played with tensors but this is much better for me. Absolutely love it. Raw input is raw output. You can pretty much do everything with this rubber.

This is such a great FH rubber, it is fast, spiny and good control. But, if you want to maximize this rubber, you will need time to copy the Chinese player stroke.
Update: after played several months, I have corrected the throw angle, tackiness, speed, spin, and control. Overall this rubber is absolutely for topspin players, brush the ball all the way :D but don't forget to clean it up, otherwise, this rubber will underperform. Some players love to boost this rubbers, I will try to boost this rubbers and will update soon.

I usually play with regular Hurricane 3, but decided to try the neo version because many people say it's better then regular H3. IMHO, there is no significant differences between H3 neo and regular H3. There are a few differences, but they are not instantly noticeable.
As the manufacturer claims, H3 neo has softer sponge with more catapult effect, which should increase speed and control. However, the tacky topsheet kind of nullify the catapult effect, so the improvement on speed is only marginal. The softer/elastic sponge and tacky topsheet allow for longer dwell time and better control, than regular H3. Finally, H3 neo also has slightly higher throw angle than H3. Again, this is due to the more elastic and more dynamic nature of the neo sponge. Better control and slightly higher throw angle are the reasons why most people agree that H3 neo is easier to play with than regular H3.
Overall, this is a very good rubber if you like tacky Chinese rubber. I would rate this rubber 9 out of 10. If you tried H3 and think it's too hard to control, H3 neo might be better for you. But since I'm already used to H3, I have no reason to switch to H3 neo, given that both rubbers have almost identical speed and spin. I kind of prefer the lower throw angle of H3 anyway.

Chinese rubbers are accused for being too slow. H3Neo has that extra power in it. Very slow in the short game, requires some effort and attention to detail. At the same time it allows you to take the initiative early by attacking short balls, place your shots with tremendous accuracy and create very awkward situations for your opponents. The harder you hit the faster it becomes as the sponge gets activated. The increase in speed is linear and the behavior consistent. Spin is very good. The disadvantages of this rubber are that it is sensitive to incoming spin and that it requires physical effort to generate speed. It is a great combination with slightly flexible blades. It is a versatile rubber that suits many styles of play, attacking and defending alike. After one year the sponge is much softer and, even though it is less spiny, I like it more.
A veryvery good FH rubber, perfect for topspin, loop, short play and serve. Amazing rubber with amazing price.
Good rubber if you like sticky rubber. Not slow, power shots really go fast. Technic has to be chiness style to get most out.
This was my first FH rubber so I don't have anything to compare to. However, I can see why many people like it.
This chinese rubber is tacky. This is great for heavy topspin loopers and can generate a hefty amount of spin. Once it hits the opponents side it takes off.
For driving and smashing, it does fairly well. With it being a harder sponge, smashing is not its strength, but it does produce.
Countering underspin is where this rubber shines. It takes almost no effort to lift the ball on a moderate to heavy underspin.
Control is moderate. This rubber is very sensitive to incoming spin, especially side spin. When testing ball placement, this rubber shoots the ball quite high, so the throw angle of any incoming ball with spin is going to launch it.
Touch play is quite surprisingly easy. Even though it is sensitive to opponents spin and being a tacky rubber, it has a generally soft feel on short plays and pushes. Blocking is somewhat of a mystery to me on this rubber, but I am usually not a blocking type. The few blocks I have managed to return, it was decently able to put the ball back on the table, but don't expect this rubber to make it back every time.
Close to the table is easy where this rubber has it's advantages as well. Heavy looping, counter topspin, decent speed. It's easy to get the ball back before the opponent has a chance to think. Away from the table it starts to drop in speed and power as there is no catapult effect for this rubber.
Overall this is a decent rubber or anyone who wants to get into Chinese tacky rubbers, and at a decent price, it's a no brainer.

This is such a good rubber, it rewards players that can hit the ball hard enough to produce the speed/spin they want. To me, this rubbers feel very simple in a way that it is a slow rubber when you lack power but can be a killer for who can put on a strong topspin or loop. The throw angle is perfect for counter loops/topspins producing a massive amount of spin and speed. With the very tacky topsheet it is easy to get a spinny serve as well. Only for forehand flick it's difficult to get a strong shot out of this rubber as it is a small stroke. Blocking is also fairly decent, nothing special to say here and forehand push has lots of spin. In conclusion: This rubber rewards the player with good technique and power and converts it into speed and spin
Really good rubber!!!!!......
I am using joola basic carbon blade with DHS h3 neos on both sides.......it generates tremendous spin and has lots of control ...........very good for blocking........ has a low arc and the rubbers are very tacky , the ball literally sticks to your rubber!!!!
u have to keep it clean and protected(can use the sheet which will be provide behind the sponge) when not in use because it can damage the rubber and it can loose its tackiness
Its almost a year now and it still has 40% of the tackiness
I strongly recommend it for the forehand because u need to have the brushing action to get the best spin out of it....
But in the backhand i am facing some minor problems but still i like it for my bh

I'm not sure about this rubber: it feels very slow (at least when new), especially when compared to the blue-sponge Provincial H3. It's not super tacky, and it seems a little hard to control on smashes. That being said, it has lots of gears, and it capable of a fairly fast smash if you put enough into it. If I bought again (I probably will), I'll go for the factory-tuned version (I don't use boosters, so that will have an influence on the speed). Solid rubber.
UPDATE:
After getting used to this, the Hurricane is capable of really fast loops and flat hits, as well as powerful smashes. Once this rubber breaks in a little, it's a great rubber!

I use this rubber on both FH and BH of a DHS Wind Allround blade and I absolutely love it! At first it is too tacky, making it slow and difficult to control. After about 10 hours of playing time the tackiness tames a little but the rubber remains incredibly sticky, allowing for monster spin while retaining honest speed and good control. I'm a modern attacker and use many different stroke types, and this rubber has made all of them considerably better. Spin is incredible and control is good, speed is relative to stroke effort which makes close to the table play and far from the table play equally great. The only two cons for this rubber are the weight, which isn't an issue for anyone willing to work on building strength, and the difficulty with chopping due to the stickiness. I have read complaints about sensitivity to oncoming spin, but if you swing hard and commit to heavy topspin you will be successful more often than not. Awesome job DHS!!
This is an occasional rubber for fast blades. Personally, I have a DHS Hurricane Long I together with this rubber for FH and BH both. If someone asks me, this would be one of the best options (considering the price of course!) the hurricane long blade with this rubber work excessively due to the speed of the blade, tackiness of the rubber and above normal control of both.
I like this rubber. better than some other ones even with higher prices; and here is some advice as a conclusion: To save your money and have an almost excellent racket, invest on a very fast blade with good control, and then use tacky rubbers with normal speed which are not very expensive and get (almost) the same result as Tenergy, Butterfly SpinArt, Rakza7, etc.

This rubber is pretty cheap and it's tempting to buy it and try it out when you're at the beginning. if you're in this position, you're about to make the biggest mistake a beginner can make.
These chinese (most of the DHS) rubbers are fast , heavy, hard, tacky and very difficult to control for a beginner. For over the table game this one is ok, but as soon as you want to loop it will punish you if you don't have the strength and the perfect stroke. It will make things very difficult because t is heavy , almost no touch because of the hardness. Blocks go downwards and end up into the net and the tackiness will make it very spin-sensitive.
All of these make everything very confusing for a beginner, even for an intermediate. I dare say , if you haven't been playing for more than 5 years, these rubbers are not for you. I have lost almost 4 months trying to get along with these rubbers when i should have been perfecting my strokes with nice, easy, medium-soft Japanese rubbers. Don't make the same mistake.

If your looking for grip than this rubber is for you. Tacky sheets requires you to have a very good technique. Therefore, not for beginners and intermediate players as it require perfect strokes. Not fast, but not slow either. Great for close to the table fast attacker. If you are practicing to improve technique I highly recommend. It requires consistent cleaning due to tackiness attracting dust. Should clean after every use. I think it's a great rubber for the price and fairly durable.
This rubber is awesome quality chinese rubber if spinning is your forte. The price point just perfect and good for practicing chinese playing style.
Everything has already been written about this rubber, but I would like to point out one thing, which I noticed recently. DHS makes different quality rubber for the eastern and western markets.
Specifically, so far I have bought 3 rubbers from Germany (during the last 3 years) and one from Bulgaria (2 weeks ago). All 3 from Germany look exactly the same, but this one from Bulgaria has a shinier topsheet, a shade darker sponge, is less tacky, the picture on the package is more blurry and plays worse with it.
At first I thought it was a fake, but then I saw that the dealer is a representative for DHS for Bulgaria and apparently gets original rubbers, but which are not of the same quality as those bought in Germany.
I wonder if others have noticed this too?

The newest craze in China wherein players would use Hurricane 3 37 degrees on both forehand and backhand. When boosted with Seamoon booster or any other boosters, the H3 37 Neo can be as fast as ESN rubbers but with much more amount of spin. The rubber is medium soft and has a light weight of 59 grams uncut.
Pretty good tacky forehand rubber for a great price. Good for serving, blocking and topsin.
Amazing backhand rubber in my opinion for creating controlled loops with heavy spin not very fast though. Also a great forehand loop and is amazing at looping underspin
H3Neo uma tima borracha. Realmente preciso confirmar e concordar com a grande maioria das postagens.
Uso 41 graus, FH e BH.

I would expect to use it for my backhand however as it was not too much tacky I used it for FH now. It has a lot of spin and speed when you put a lot of power.
After trying three 39 degrees, 2.15mm H3Ns on four different blades, I feel this is not for me. The tackiness wears down quickly and the factory-tuned sponge hardened after two weeks. I tried boosting them but it only brings back part of its original performance. It is good for training since it is relatively inexpensive. Close to the table plays are good.
I am using this rubber on Bh in 39 degrees. Its very tacky with a nice arc. The control is amazing when blocking and attacking but requires more effort than European rubbers. Its a good rubber for strong players. It starts slow but once you get used to it, it gets faster.
I am using for both fore and back hands .. perfect fh.. but needs a lot of power and practice to get used of in bh.. after more than 3 month I am still not 100% comfortable with

I think my topsheet for H3N isn't as tacky as it should be. However, untuned this rubber is a pretty ok rubber. Good speed and spin. When tuned the sponge becomes softer and there is a catapult effect. Tune the rubbers. It's better tuned.
A rubber with the expected tackiness you would find in the chinese category, once you cut it and put it in your racket you would find this rubber slow and an no control, but it gets more elastic once you strart using it constantly. Is important to indicate that you would need to adjust your tecnique to this rubber cause is not as forgiven as other rubbers. Overall if you are looking for a chinese setup and you already know the tacky rubber tecnique then this rubber could fit you. I am using the neo version. I recommend to buy this or any other chinese tacky rubber before upgrating into the blue sponge or boosting it.
A really great rubber for intermediate and league players. It is VERY tacky so you can produce a lot of spin, especially on forehand loops and spinny serves. On backhand shots i find it is a little slower but you get great control.
HN3 is fast however there are definitely faster (more expensive) rubbers out there
I agree with the Gears rating as you can play very short, slow serves and chops easily. but you can open up with rapid loops as well. Overall i believe speed and control are brilliant but spin outperforms both.

This is the first DHS rubber I have ever tried and it blew me away. At first getting shots on the table felt strange and the rubber felt much too slow. I hated the rubber until i started playing more loops and spinny shots, once i started looping with the rubber it felt like a completly different rubber; every shot I made even if i made a mistake would drop on to the table. I would highly recommend this rubber.
So I don't have much funds to test multiple samples so I'm gonna write my very first and last impression since at this moment I've played only one single time.
In my case when you put the film off before playing it's some strange spots after it. OK, they get away after few hours of playing and constant breathing on the rubber.
As I could expect, tackiness was not as good as I'd like. However general impression on this rubber in pair with nice light Palio CAT blade is just great! It's pretty linear, not that speedy => amazing control! And pretty light of course. The red one is not much different from the black one in terms of tackiness. I don't know why everyone usually complain about speed of this rubber. Speed is usually a lot easier to generate than spin. This rubber is good for me! I don't know about national and provincial versions but I don't even want to since I'm OK with this one. A nice linear set with the emphasis on spin. Just amazing!
UPD: seems like it's oversensitive to temperature. Behaves strange if not brushing constantly with your palm when cold, always condensates.
UPD2: OK, it doesn't condensate as much as I thought, but that's my sweat. Too much breathing on it inhibits it's tackiness and you have no other way but go and clean it up. It never happened to grippy rubbers. After playing it almost a year the tackiness still there but not every ball tacks to it. That's kind of weird. Although I noticed that glossy balls tack better, and most of the balls become glossy after playing with them for some time. At least here some win.

Blade: Andro CSV OFF+
FH: Hurricane 3 Neo 39 Degree 2.15mm
BH: Tenergy 05 2.1mm
The best value out of any rubber you could buy. I've used several rubbers for FH (H3 Provincial, H8 Hard, Genesis M...) This one has by far the longest durability out of all of them. After a year of play, it still has the catapult effect you can achieve by brushing the ball with proper technique. Definitely will buy this again. Spin wise it is what you expect from a chinese rubber. Speed is good, but not MX-P or Tenergy fast.
If I had to rank,
Speed: MX-P> Tenergy 05> H3 Provincial> H8=H3 NEO
Spin: H8 hard > H3 Provincial > H3 NEO > Tenergy 05 > MX-P

A high spin rubber that still delivers good, controllable speed. A bit hard on a hard blade but excellent for softer, ALL or DEF blades. Better, I think on all wood rather than carbon blades as the sponge/rubbers needs that bit of forgiveness provided by all wood. I preferred this rubber on a light, balsa core blade as it help off-set the weight and hardness of the rubber. The speed is very linear so highly predicable and controllable. I did find it rather sensitive to incoming spin but the flip side is that it generates very spinny serves itself. A great intermediate to advanced rubber on a budget.
Saya coba versi komersial. 2.2 mm orange. Kesan pertama adalah ringan. Topspin yg dihasilkan mantab, point 9. Kontrol mantab, point 8.5. Speed mantab, point 9.
Topsheetnya kenyal, dipadu spon agak keras. Kkombinasi yg enak dipakai.
Perawatan topsheet cukup dilap dengan kanebo air bersih. Jika perlu setitik sabun cair. Keringkan diangin angin. Simpan dalam kondisi kering, jauh dari matahari.

Wow! Got this as one of my first rubbers, and found this very hard to use. Once I learned proper technique, this became a deadly weapon. Can attack up close or far from the table. This can even chop! The spin of serves can win points outright. Played on all kinds of blades, but I prefer this on a flexible all-wood blade where the dwell time allows me to put the most power in the stroke. Some find this to be good, but I didn't like the super high throw angle. Recommended to beginners who want to learn good strokes, or advanced players who want a lot of power and spin. If the price scares you, you can always buy cheap Friendship/729 rubbers, and they'll play very similarly.
Not sure how to review this.
I got 4 sheets of it and each one was so radically different.. one was very tacky and spinny, one was not tacky at all with the red paint peeling off. One was easy to play and one was like a steel brick.
The real problem is that its tackiness, which was probably very meaningful with the smaller cellballs, has severely reduced effect when faced with the 40+ plastic ball.. which is why even a very lowly basic rubber spins them better. Cannot rate it very highly given the terrible consistency.
However it is very speedy (just learn to hit) and fun because the hardness and lack of tensor allows you to play both incredibly accurate soft touches and very powerful ball crunching shots.
It is also very very light compared to many new FH rubbers, which helps.
I would recommend to go for a more modern tacky, like the 729 Battle II, instead.

this rubber is good in most of its aspects speed control & spin I am using it on my xiom strato fl,response is good but to make topspin's are bit difficult but after a lot of practice it is ok, my rubber is not tacky like the skyline 3 neo i used before its an original one maybe there is a defect in the manufacturing. Minus point is it has to be boosted for better control speed & spin the company should come up with some boosting methods so there is no need of this boosting doesn't no matter the price it will be better for players using this rubber overall this rubber rocks in it's aspects
Excellent forehand rubber if you want to get out of your shots what you put into them. Slow, not bouncy, with just as much control as your classic Sriver/Mark V in the short game but has the top end speed of any offensive tenser rubber out there when you rip a full body loop as hard as you can. And it has every gear in between with no sudden jumps in speed at a certain point like Tenser rubbers. Will not give your game any artificial boost like some high tech rubbers but gives you exactly what put into each shot with excellent control.

Very hard rubber, heavy and tacky. Good only for chinese style of playing. Same top sheet like on H3. If you want to add the power of your forehand, then use this rubber. It may become worse than to play, but it will make you work. Perhaps you like to play this rubber. But to play at a high level this rubber bad.
I boosted this rubber with Falco oil, and after playing with the result I've decidedI'm never paying $70 for a sheet of rubber again (I'm talking about Tenergy).... the spin is only slightly less, the speed is the same except over the table it's still a bit slower but the added bounce created by the oil didn't sacrifice control noticeably, a very noticeable disadvantage is that the rubber becomes quite heavy after oil and some players don't like that heavy weight, not an issue for me because I like a heavier paddle because I'm more aware of my bat angle with the weight, one big advantage over Tenergy is that very slow serves can have high spin - like all tacky rubbers, and also much less sensitive to incoming spin..... all in all, for net total of less than $23, I cannot see how anyone can complain, I still admit that energy is the best, but I prefer to make my own from now on
Excellent rubber for FH! It works well only soft wood blades. Serves are deadly, counter loops and loops very good too. I played with it on HRT Clipper. Wonderful combination.
I changed from European rubbers to Chinese rubbers and I can safely say i will never go back! I use DHS Neo 3 on my FH and the control it allows for my shots is 2nd to none. Spin on serves is excellent. Touch play close to the net allows for short low shots because of the tacky surface. Only issue is counter top-spins away from the table as you need to give a little bit more power to return. Other than that i love it!
The rubber I received was not as tacky as my other hurricane 3 neo. All in all pretty good.
this is a great rubber, i used on my forehand but it was not as fast but it has very good control.
Hurricane 3 Neo is a unique rubber. It can generate tons of spin, but sometimes, by a slight change of angle, generates no spin at all. I believe it is because I'm just starting to use it. I think that it has the potential for creating great serves. Speed is above average but to make full use of its ability, it takes time to master. Worth its price of S$35. I am playing penhold but I think this rubber is better for a shakehand style. I looped with it with penhold but no spin was generated. Really hard to block an attack from a shakehand user though. Slow and spinny confuses many. A great rubber.
All DHS Neo rubbers are pre-glued with VOC FREE glue on the back of sponge, when assembling to blade, one only needs to apply glue on the blade.
tested out a bit, I felt it great from te beginning. Easy switch from european non-tacky to chinese tacky; no major movement change. I feel it really good on all kind of topspin, less good on no-spin drives. No catapult effect at all, maybe boosting a little bit would help.
Very good rubber for FH, but not really fast. Spinny, makes a lot of troubles for counterlooping (even for Tenergy 25). Good for serves and blocks. Not good for far from the table. Looses in quality a bit after about half a year.
I use it on my backhand. It produces a lot of winners for me. It is one of the best rubbers I have tried. It can serve very well and can produce a lot of spin on any type of stroke. Definitely a winner. You need good timing to unleash the full potential of this rubber.
I use one on my FH on a Hinoki Shake Swift blade (medium). I found that it was very easy to do 3rd ball loops, but because of of the hardness of the sponge the 6th ball drive are always trickier (for me!). This rubber is awesome but it is hard to get the right angle.
very high throw rubber. First loop is very easy and very spinny, second loop is very hard , likely to go off the table. suitable for mid distance player. The throw is too high for close to table players. So if this happens to you, (first loop ok but second loop off the table), try Hurricane 8 or tg2 neo, or even H2 neo. ---Nowadays H3N can be found in hardness 38, 39 , 40, and 41. I suggest 39 strongly. 39 is still very hard. 40 is rock hard and will be slower, or needs 3 layers of booster. Also , 40 won't pair with a hard blade such as Viscaria. 39 pairs very well with it. 38 is ok for backhand or even for forehand if you don't boost. 41 is useless unless you are a pro and boost with 3-4 layers. ---short receive is excellent, but this is true of all rubbers: H3, Tg2, Tg3, H2, H8. ---Let me summarize the throw angles (= arcs) of these rubbers: H2N: very low. TG2N: low. (almost exactly like 729 superfx, or 729 bloom power). H8: medium-low. TG3N: medium. H3N: very high.---- So now you can choose the arc you need. close to table, advanced => h2. close to table, intermediate: h8 or tg2. close to table, beginner: tg3. mid distance, advanced: tg3. mid distance: h3.------ H3N needs at least one layer of booster or you will injure your shoulder. baby oil also works. This is true of all dhs rubbers including h8.---on backhand: the 38 version is very good for flip (you lift everything) and for opening loop (incredibly spinny), but if they block to your bh, the throw will be so high you are likely to shoot the next shot off the table. So, for bh I suggest much lower throw (tg2N for example, or even H2N).
really good rubber. It is heavy though so think about which blade you put it on. any way, it's not that hard at all. its only 40 degrees.
I have tried a couple of sheets of commercial H3 over the years but never really liked them. I decided to give this neo H3 a try. To be honest with you I cannot seem to put the ball on the table. It seems to be the highest throw rubber I have ever seen. I did like the sponge and attaching it to the blade was neat. But despite using a lot of other chinese rubber in the past I can't seem to use this. I also got a sheet of skyline 3 neo at the same time and that is much, much easier to use.
great ruuber for bh and fh.has a great spin, good speed and very good control.it is incredible for serves and is very cheap.
Just put this layers of booster and play.
Magic spin and control. If you know how to unlock all gears, unbelivable rubber. I tell you there is no better rubber for forehand than hurricane.

Not as tacky as it claims, just grippy. An 8 dollars milkyway rubber is 3 times more tacky than this neo3 rubber.using it is easy to overshoot the ball where you don't want to. The sponge supposed to be medium but feels like a rock. Will not get this again.
buy some Haifu booster and this rubber. Boost the rubber. put on a fast outer layer carbon blade...... aaaaand if your into tacky spinny chinese rubbers you just got the perfect setup. World class. I am actually getting tired of ESN rubbers. there are only so many ways to reinvent the wheel. I am gravitating towards fast chinese rubbers or the new hybrids that dont require boosting. currently loving the Tibhar Hybrid K3 as its grippy spinny with total control yet a tiger underneath ready to roar with the very hard sponge. best of 2 worlds. However.... this DHS rubber done with proper boosting is very very similar as its only weakness is speed which can be fixed.
At the game level, it has perfectly fulfilled a lot of control for the loops, but it left me a little disappointed with the issue of stickiness; perhaps, I fell for the marketing, but it is not as sticky as I expected.
Good chineese rubber. Good for players who like more spin than raw speed. Good to combine with looping blades like DHS PG7.
Very nice rubber. Due to its tackiness it is very good in the short game. It can be played very slow, but on full arm swing it becomes very fast. I really like the very low throw angle with the long curve, as it lets my enemies struggle hard against my topspins. It feels super controllable as well. It is nicely cheap, which makes it acceptable that the durability is not high.
DHS Hurricane 3 Neo 40 2.15mm, affordable price, easy to get dirty, good enough when paired with fast Blade like Xiom Strato Off+.
The topsheet is tacky, thick and has low pips, which makes it for better spin on touch shots (serve, push), and loads spin again best in high power shots. I like other rubber better to flick but i will try, i think there a learning curve.
I got a 37 deg sponge, black thick topsheet, non porous topsheet, shiny and flat. It's surprisingly medium soft sponge does not feel so soft under this top, but it makes it slow, i think it's probably the hardness intended for backhand and should go on a faster blade.

Cheaper than expected for the quality of this rubber. Using it on my Timo Boll Spirit blade for my backhand, and I've never had this much control of the ball. Especially with such a fast, offensive blade. Good buy for sure!
Hard rubber, use it if u have strong arms. Using H3 neo + alc blade very difficullt to place ball in deep corners.
Spin good, speed low. Boosting required
Spin good, speed low. Boosting required
The perfect rubber for my chinese backhand for spin rotations attack.
But for my play , i need tune it. Once tuned, block, service, play short, spin, speed...perfect.
For forehand i prefer 39 or 40 of hardness.
For backhand 38-37. If you have more hardness, use more oil.
Remmember red sheet (backhand) and back(forehand).

A very good sticky rubber, very good to generate effect and a lot of rotation, somewhat slow but with the right Madero, you can make a lot of potential, I used the yasaka max 3d charcoal, it was a perfect combination, if you clean it regularly you can make it last a long time, excellent profit price ratio.
One of the most consistent rubbers I've tried, its takiness helps to create good spin that with the proper technique becomes a monster, I would say it's a little bit slower than what I was expecting, but nothing to worry. If you're looking for good control, stickiness and consistency then this rubber would suit you.
I think i'll stick with this rubber on my forehand. Seems to do everything well if you know your incoming spins and execute accordingly. Very grippy out of the package. Losing some of the grip over time but seems pretty durable and still plays nice. I can't imagine a "truer" feeling forehand rubber. It does what you tell it to do if you have good footwork and can get on top of the ball off the bounce. Comes already tuned(factory boosted) so you don't have to spend time boosting it yourself. Will be my permanent forehand rubber unless i hear of something that rivals it.
Dead cheap when compared to BTY rubbers.demands very high physical strength.
The shots dont get out of the table hence very high safety margin but if u dont put effort ball will be only in ur court.
Mark V + Higher spin+ Greater effort - light less control = DHS NEO Hurricane

Good attacking rubber on medium hard blade. Need more brush and movement to create great arc. Quite bouncy on blocking, so we need to play with descent angle. Overall, it's a consistent attacking rubber with good speed, descent spin, and adequate control.
Tremendous amount of spin..forgiving for a chinese rubber..sponge is dead hard as rock if (unboosted)..topsheet is so so..control is good..just tacky..the provincial is way more better than commercial
In the short time I've been playing tennis I've tried a lot of different rubbers but this just feels right. The tackiness really helps on the service and developing feeling when looping or brushing. The hardness really forces you use proper technique. This is not a forgiving rubber in serve receives but because of that, I feel like I've grown a lot as a player and I have this rubber to thank.
Other forehand rubbers I've used: Tibhar MX-P (way to fast and soft), DHS Gold Arc 5 ( really good but lacks feeling), DHS Skyline 3 (close but too soft. Drives were lacking speed).

Beautiful rubber, easy to lift backspin, high spin, very aggressive short services, quite control, heavy, hard even with black and tuned 39 degrees, slow, works better in soft but fast blades, demands too much energy and physical preparation, if you want to generate power you must be very strong otherwise it is not recommended for you.very difficult to use, there are better Chinese rubbers for FH, big dipper, 729 battle 2, gold arc5
Most efficient forehand rubber, cheap and effective. Grip is excellent, speed is ok. Its tackiness can be used in light loop and initial opening, while in fast counter loop, the speed produced is still excellent.
Modern Chinese rubber for variable attackers. It excels in continuous loop from mid distance with varying arc due to high throw topsheet and low throw sponge. Can do everything, spins well on most shots, but best on power loops. However, I find control to be lacking. It is not easy to properly judge swinging speed and topsheet to sponge engagement ratio when making the desired stroke. Neither intuitive nor easily adaptable for me, so I don't use it.
Pair it with at least medium stiff and medium hard blades or you control will suffer even more.
EDIT: So much better on medium hard stiff blade, high throw balances low throw of blade and control becomes intuitive. Great rubber, boosted 39 deg is very suitable for me.

i bought this rubber to use it in my back hand and WOW no words can describe it .. .. after awhile i switch it to FH ..
and i give it 3 STARS ..Max ( Speed .. Spin... Control ) what a combination ..

Great rubber.
One general comment, especially for those who complain that this is either too tacky or it is difficult to hit - BOOST THIS THING!!!
I cannot stress this enough. This is a Chinese rubber. This means that the rubber will be solid. Boosting it will soften the sponge - great for looping and counter'ing.

Super offensive rubber with great speed and spin. It works fine with both allround and offensive blades. I have tried red and black, 2.15mm and 2.20mm, H38, H39, H40 and H41 sponge. Testing has been made on different blades, but for me brush looping and often hits the ball further back and then from a lower place it's the 2.15mm H39 that has worked best. I need to put as much power as possible in my strikes and still get the arc that puts the ball on the table, that's why a thinner and softer sponge is better for me. I'm waiting for a couple of H37 and H38 for testing now. This rubber is lethal when used right. Weight cut 2.15mm H40: 53g. 2.2mm H39: 50g. 2.15mm H39: 47g. 2.1mm H38: 49g. 2.15mm, H41: 49g
My first tacky rubber on my blade now. I put it on FH-rubber DHS NEO Hurricane 3(Orange sponge) very surprise of tackiness. The first time that I use the FH-rubber, take a lot of my force to loop and spin the ball but it goes very spinny. (I'm just amateur player)
good FH rubber...very good for serving as it has many gears. You get what you put in the stroke which allows for both finesse and power shots. I have it on a medium heavy blade right now but I think it will be even better on my heavy blade. I like hard rubber on heavy blade and this is just hard enough to not bottom out in a fast and hard hitting game.
This is a good rubber with a very cheap price but it lacks some speed somehow and also this rubber can produce an extreme topspin and can easy counter back spin because of it's tackiness and it can produce a spinny serve , this rubber will be suited to a mid range player not short range player but overall this is a good rubber for those who play topspin
I paired this to butterly kenta matsudaira alc blade, at first the rubber felt slow, i was looking to replace the rubber, but i noticed my co-workers couldnt return a good percentage of my normal serves, it produces some serious spin. When returning a backspin ball with backspin, this rubber GRABS the ball and gives good amount of backspin. Im more of a backhand player, so sometimes when they give me a backspin to my backhand, i flick it back with an intimidating speed, i put pressure on my opponents with just a flick. The speed is meh, BUT dont give up on it, you have to learn your strokes, the better your stroke, the rubber rewards you. The good thing is that when i ay doubles, if my partner sets up the opponent with a pop up ball, its slow enough to return the ball without going last the table, it surprised the hell out of me, so as far as speed goes, its good out the package, it keeps good, safe shots. I would most likely recommend this rubber to someone with an alc blade. This rubber, you cant just give up on it if its not working for you, you have to continuosly play with it and it will reward you.
I did boost it after a couple of months, i honestly didnt notice a difference(maybe i did the process wrong, idk, first time trying booster)
It honestly feels the same.

I am an intermediate player,40+,when I first used this rubber,I felt I made a mistake or I was given a fake. But then as I kept at it....3-4 hours,I realised that if you hit softly-it feels a dead rubber, but if you put some real brute power the speed and sound is awesome.I was thinking that its good for Chinese style loops....but I think what it means is if you hit with a lot of power the rubber grips and wakes up the sponge.I now love this rubber. So cheap.Must try rubber if you hit powerfully on FH.
Update-Amazing rubber, great control, slow hits are slow and fast hits are supppper fast with magical click /tok sound.
Update=19-1-2018-1 year intermittent use,I have gotten better and now I play with better player....they have amazing spinny loops that are hard to block or counter loop.....now this is where I find this rubber magical....I can counter loop very spinny loops of my opponents.....winners mostly!!!! update:9 Sept,2018-->Love this even more......Using it on my BH(surprisingly).....works so well...........I have worked on my BH........speed is very good.

i found out this is the perfect combination for my tenergys ,these a awesome rubbers for me
Not as fast as it is rated here. Searched for a rubber to change for my Donic Coppa X3 on my FH and based on the ratings here, this should have been a comparable rubber. Unfortunatly, it is slower than 8.5 but you can produce some nice spin with it because of the tackiness. For me it isn't fast enough to finish points because you have to put to much effort into the smashes/topspin to make a winner. Maybe it would be a good BH rubber but I haven't tested it yet.
I've used this rubber for a little over 2 months now. Going from more traditional rubber to this rubber I noticed my playing style has changed overall. I now favor my forehand because of my ability to pick up the ball and change it's direction in order to loop. With my backhand I feel I need to be more selective with my shots; whereas with the hurricane 3, anything off the table is fair game to a loop. Because it's so tacky you have to play with more or a brushing of the ball rather than angled strokes but once accomplished your game will improve. There is a reason why so many people love this rubber. The amount of spin I can get on serves is also quite effortless. Short game can be a bit tough sometimes when you're struggling to get to the ball. If you hit it to soft the tackiness will take over and kill most of the speed, but come at it to fast and the neo sponge will get the best of your shot. This is the kind of rubber that works well when you do.
Amazing spin and control,if you have off blade or off+ the speed is good.
And tackiness is also very good.
Only chose the black rubbers because they have more tackines then the red ones ;)
Best rubber on world .
Just look at the reviews how many people gave their opinion on it.
And how many people is using this rubber unsted the expensive ones.

Awesome FH rubber for loopers and for players who loves spins over power. For power players (uses drives and smash very often), i recommend you to use thicker blades(5.9mm-7mm.). Thicker blades will provide a higher net safety and add speed on your drives and smashes with this rubber. Overall a great and affordable rubber, just beware of the counterfeits out in the market.
It is an excellent rubber. I feel very good to control the ball and make my game improve a lot. I can play five different kinds of spin easily. I can make my topspin quick and powerful.
Great for looping, good control and power. Not as good for driving, but still not bad. This rubber wants you to put spin on the ball, whether it's topspin or backspin.
Overall it's a good rubber but still nowhere near the tenergy series. The only great thing that beats the tenergy line up is the spin. The topsheet got dirty in less than 2 days and when I tried to clean it using a wet cotton it became dirty because there was some few marks and it even had my fingerprint. This is a Suitable rubber for those people who are on budget cuts.
e. (completely edited review). This is such a good FH rubber, it's the reason to play close to the table. With proper form there's no shortage of power at all, the main limiter is how much topspin you can put on the ball to keep all that speed on the table. While some tensors can reflect tons of spin/speed with tiny strokes, none I've tried can make as strong of a first attack as H3. The service is also superb, always a bit spinnier than my opponents. Pairs well (of course) with looping blades.
I gave it a 9 out of 10
But for me its perfect. I love chinese hard rubbers though ill prbly test other soft ones if i have the $.
This is my first rubber and not only are they cheap but they are of good quality to be this cheap.
I have both Fh and Bh on Waldner Senso Carbon V1 blade.
Its tackiness wears of a bit with time but its hard sponge and pimple arrangement with its tackiness makes you able to hit hard and consistent the new plastic ball.
Perfect for the palyer that wants to perform good loops to the table with a medium throw angle, hard and deceiving against opponent.
If you hit the ball softly it WILL go slowly.
This Rubber is perfect for close games, but if opponent preasures you off table, then Hurricane will help you counter loop and counter topsin flawlessly in accordance to your technique.
Overall, this a rubber to win points with, but also to develop your own good technique because the off table is very forgiving but remember, once you get Hurricane, u cant go back!
Love it!

This rubber is standard. I think this is suitable for forehand. it is good for speed and control wood because this rubber have slow speed.
This rubber is not for beginners! I have been playing since I was old enough to reach over the table, and figured the DHS Hurricane Neo would help me reach the next level. I picked a light cypress flexy blade to help bridge the gap from the store model light short pip bat I used for over ten years. After many hours of patient experimentation and two weeks studying Chinese, German and Swedish players, I managed to xfer my skill over plus interest! Time to make a name for myself and put America on the map!
Used as FH on various blades including a regular butterfly one, T11+ and lately DHS power G7. Best combo is the latest one. At the begginnig it was tacky but in two weeks it disaapeared. The rubber spinny, but you must spend alot of energy therefore highly tiring. Considering price, it worths buying. Overall, good for those wishing to improve the game.
The H3 rubber came in a DHS A6002 blade/rubber combo from the manufacturer along with Tin Arc(see my review on that rubber). When I got my new Bty Primorac Carbon I switched it to that blade and also like it.
PROs: This is a much better rubber than the Tin Arc: faster, spinnier, better control. It's very forgiving, just swing and the shots go in. It also produces pretty good spin and has surprisingly good speed. I am very happy with the performance of this rubber. No wonder it's very popular.
CONs: I hit very hard and the top sheet appears to be pretty durable with the exception that it's easily separating from the sponge at the edges when you hit the ball hard on the edges. The other drawback is the weight is heavy.

I use this for my forehand, and I would say that I am thoroughly impressed. It took me a while to adjust to the rubber, but now that I am used to it, my game has improved a lot. The spin I produce from my serves are pretty good, but I feel like it would be better if my technique. The topspin drives and topspin/sidespin loops I attack with are spinny, and my attacks are fast, considering I swing fast enough. Defending attacks are very forgiving. The short game is good, produces a lot of backspin to force errors. Overall, this rubber is duh so nice ones, get dis rubbers and beat errbody
I had this on my FH for awhile looking for more spin. It's there if you can utilize it. Not the hardest sponge out there, but harder than typical medium-hard and likely the hardest most people might try. Weight in red 2.15 is 49 g, so just getting to heavy on my personal scale.
I could not adjust to this rubber. Seemed to have good gears but speed was not there without a lot of effort in the stroke. This is a better quality Chinese rubber that may suit some. I will use a glued sheet of Mark V Max or Tenergy 05FX. I believe this rubber is style oriented. Heavy, to much trouble to tune. Some variation from sheet to sheet.
Using it on Nittaku russelfor 9.2 and Yasaka extra c-pen, one black on Nit and red on Yas, black gives more spin than red imo and the sponge gives a tender feeling than the red also, but it might be due to the difference in wood of the blades i use. Anyway it's a great rubber but not as great as the H3 provincial. Still you can play quite well with it and it does the job right if you use it like you should that means driving the ball and looping, but it's also a good rubber for pushing and flicking with lot of control and a really good feedback when getting into contact with the ball.
On another hand if you're kind of sloppy with your stroke technique, you won't like this rubber cuz to get what it has to give, you need to really do your movements right.

I have switched to DHS Neo H3 on FH from european tensor rubbers. Main reasons for the switch:
* H3 is more linear, and therefore far more predictable
* H3's tack means that it is easier to vary spin on serves
* H3's tack add extra level of control to FH short game, especially when handling short no-spin serves to fh
* When looping, H3 produces a different arc than tenergy and tensor rubbers, something that never fails to surprise opposition
* It is much easier to loop short balls over the table - using just H3's tacky toposheet
* the amount of spin that H3 is capable of generating is clearly no less than that of the spinniest non-tack rubbers
The only downside I can think of is that FH blocks are a bit soft because of the tack. But then why not counterhit instead of block on FH?

A very good and comfortable rubber for looping. You can vary the spins of the loops easily with this rubber. And because of its tackiness, the rubber is quiet slow, so I need to increase my power to generate more speed and it's really exhausting to do a power loops with this rubber. Need more physical training to play with this rubber. This rubber is not recommended for beginner !!
I recommend this sheet for intermediate players as it's not easy to tame. Need some time and good technique to get used to it. When you loop and hit the sweet spot, it gives a nice muted "thud". When you miss cue or hit flat and hard, it gives out a metallic "tink" sound. With the tacky surface, it attracts a lot of dust, so you need to keep it clean with a rubber cleaner after every session. I wouldn't say it's my favourite rubber, but can't beat the price!
great forehand rubber for loopers, high throw on soft loops and low throw on killer loops, great control, not the best for flat hitting, especially far from the table, but who cares, this stuff easily eat the opponent backspin!
It is a very good rubber!
The first impressions you'll think it is a very fast rubber, but then when you play with it you'll see it's not to fast and hard.
Spin is awesome, it's tackiness makes the due time longer, generating more spin and control.
At all it is a great rubber, but for people who likes non tacky rubbers I don't recommend.

Loop monster by DHS.
Super fast and spinney. Top gear amazing but can lack a bit in medium gear where tensors are better due to technology.
All the rest is said about this rubber no need for looooong review. One of my favorite rubbers on FH next to TG3 on any type of sponge (Neo, Blue, Old glue sponge and so on....)
Enjoy TT :)

The Silent Killer!! has a lot of spin power, SUPERB CHOP ATTACK, suitable for hard sponge likers.
==THE ONLY Thing i hate in this type of rubber is not very durable, peculiarly when you Re-glue for about 4x-5x above it will swell immediately like a bubbles, even if you do it correctly.

Nothing for me. I am used to "bouncy" rubbers.
The hurricane 3 is absolutely non-bouncy, so if you drop the ball onto the racket, it will bounce 3 times and thats it.
On other rubbers, the ball will bounce 8-9 times.
Of course, this is my personal opinion, other people may like it.
Just saying that it will make a huge difference, if you come from bouncy japanese rubbers.
I sold the rubber after an hour...

It is a good backhand rubber too when pair with TG3 neo. Good for block and flick at backhand with a 7 layer wood blade like 729 bomb. It's surface last longer than TG2 neo.
This rubber is pretty good but it lacks bounciness. Sticky topsheet makes it good for service. A little too hard but overall an amazing rubber. You need strenght to spin it though.
Currently using H3 NEO Red 2.2 40deg. on a FH of Joola Flame Fast blade, and I am more than pleased with it. It took a couple of hours of braking in, but now it works like a dream. This is the first time I am using a chinese rubber, and loving it. You can do just about everything with it, if your style is attack play close to mid far away from table. If you go further from the table, you will need to add more power to your shots.
For it's durability, I can't comment yet, for I've been using it for just 2 months. But after 2 months, it still hasn't lost any of it's performance.
Update:
It works better with flexible and faster blades. Durability is unbelievable.

coming from a jap, soft rubber, it was very awkward the first time I used this rubber. give it a few weeks and you'll be playing along great with it. very spinny, very durable if taken a good care of. mine lasted for 2 yrs, a big drop in spin though, but still, it will make your opponents cry.
I think this is the best Chinese rubber on the market. I have very effective serves and comparing this rubber with all the tenergys it has way more spin on service. when pushing the bell it does lack that fast deep push to corners. This is where i favor tenergy. the third ball is great with the rubber. you can step around and hit and shot you want. cant get that control and feel with tenergy. looping with this rubber is just fantastic. you can get a high arc or a fast low one deep to there backhand. You can create so much spin that you dont have to worry about over hitting the table. blocking with this rubber is about the same as tenergy. even due to the hard sponge it still has exceptional control and blocking abilities. AWay from the table i dont hit heavy shots. I like to put massive amount of top spin on the ball. It gets a very high arch and lets me spin and put the ball all around the table. I have tried spin art, all the tenergys, yasaka, skyline and this by far is the best.

the 39 degree H3 neo is too hard to be used. It works when brush the ball, when hitting the ball with no or little brush, it is hard to control.
VERY impressive speed'n'spin capabilities, but only when you play like monster. pretty good short game and serves. blocks bad coz dead sponge, but H3N allows you to counter loop-drive very easy. nice and interesting rubber
good for backhand
especially for those who lacks power in the BH area
the extra bounce really helps alot in BH loops or Flicks
not really that tacky and spinny

lately i use it on my forehand due to its tremendous spin and speed. but i really bought this for my BH. it sorta lacks consistency but maybe i just lack practice :P its awesome on both forehand and backhand. it can make a very spinny serve. i forgot to mention this is my first rubber. its a very tacky rubber and that is why i love it!!! its my favorite rubber for now.
Amazingly tacky and spinny rubber..good speed too..i'm using it in my FH..my sidespin and topspin loop has never been better..get dirty really quick and lost it tackiness..after clean it, the rubber shine again..
technology is awesome.i used this rubber and am still using it..it offers great spin in looping.my game is now become flawless.but there is always something to learn.hurricane 3 neo i am your fan nd a big one toO
DHS Hurricane 3 neo est un bon eponge pour moi,Je conseille tous mes eleves de joue avec sa!

this is the best chinese rubber that I've ever used. you can generate lot of speed and spin with nice control. that's why malong used it as his forehand. smash, block, chop, topspin really easy used this rubber. I use 2.2 mm as my forehand
I played the DHS TG Skyline 2 before. Now I choose the DHS Neo Hurricane 3, because I need more speed and you really get it from this rubber. It's still slow if you play normal strokes or slow hits, but if you gonna attack, it provides a lot of speed.
The sponge is for european and american standards still hard, but a little bit smoother than other chinese rubbers. Block is not so good, because the angle which the ball leave from your racket ist high and the ball doesn't reach the table anymore.
But very positiv is the loop and topspin. The tacky surface gives you so much spin, that your opponent nearly never had chance to block the ball.
The 3rd ball attack is great!
Serving with this rubber is also good, the ball get so much spin that your serves getting more dangerous.
So overall: that's a great rubber to attack, not to play passiv, just activ playing recommended.
Maybe I will try the Neo Hurricane 3 Provincial oder National version, because they say it's a little bit smoother and better to control and attack.
The price for that rubber is all right.

First things first. this rubber is real slow without a carbon blade. Match it with tenergy 64 on any carbon blade and you have a good combo. I use a time boll ALC with dhs neo 3 and tenergy 64-fx. Very good dwell time. Good feel with the harder sponge very durable. Flicks are very good with this rubber, can generate tons of spin on service and short pushes. from mid distance attacking it is very effective but from long distance it lacks consistency. I switched to this rubber from Tenergy 05 and i will be sticky with it. Only thing i would like to try is the National and provincial versions.
I just hit with this rubber with a little effort but the effect of spin is marvelous
WOW! i have this rubber on a Timo Boll ALC with tenergy 64 on the backhand and its so amazing i switched 05 on my forehand for this. On the service i use a reverse pendulum and it generates a ton of spin if you clean your rubber regularly. Really easy to have a strong effective shot on the 3rd ball and also loops very well. pushing with this ball generates plenty of spin but lacks in control. good for mid distance fore hand to fore hands. flicks are also very good with this rubber if you have the right technique. I think for this rubber to perform at the highest level possible you need to be a player that has a very consistent stroke because unlike European rubbers not a whole lot of room for forgiveness. i will now be staying with Chinese rubbers since they are a whole lot cheaper then andro and butterfly. Another great rubber to try is Tin arc 3 and blue whale both similar plays to Chinese rubbers. i will be writing another review once i play with this longer.
good rubber overall. but, because this rubber is a bit slow, try not to go far from the table. you need to do chinese style strokes for better performance.
surprisingly good FH rubber. liked it a lot since the first time i played with it. i'll give it few months credit
I love this rubber! If you have fast legs and great technique, this is the best rubber. I dominate the game with it when have enough physics! It not good in playing slow motion game, it requires acceleration and you always have to spin the ball, no flat. Flat strokes have no control. Just spin, and remember that control is in spin. In short game (and returning serves) also spin, but more delicate and fast. So if you want to go one step further in tt then learn to play with it!
This rubber is great for forehand. Not very fast but absolutely great control and spin. Probably one of the most spinny rubber.
This rubber can do everything from smashing, looping to chopping. Only rubber that I can safely say that it can really do everything.
This rubber can do everything from smashing, looping to chopping. Only rubber that I can safely say that it can really do everything.
The best forehand rubber I have ever used. Definitly have to adjust your stroke (racket angle and foreward momentum) to get the best out of it though. Can't wait to get my hands on a provincial.
Ive bought this rubber three or four times, but have only gotten one good sheet. And that one only played peak for a month. And none of them matched the speed or spin of tenergy I usually like using on my forehand, so I guess you get what you pay for. You can buy several sheets of this to find a good one, or get one sheet of tenergy and know its good... seemingly spending the same money. Butterfly prices suck, but at least you get what you pay for. Very unhappy with this product
I love this rubber, its great for looping. Too bad its so inconsistent... but if you do get a good sheet of it, its amazing.
I use it on my forehand on Galaxy V-14 blade
I use it on my forehand on Galaxy V-14 blade
good for looping against backspin, smashing good too) I find it very powerfull, so choppers cannot find clues agains it) feels a bit heavy. Pushes often not controllable. It shines in powerattack spinbased game.
This rubber is one of the best chinese rubbers i have ever tried. DHS has been able to put the extra speed into the NEO sponge. Im using it on a control blade now, so im mostly using it for topspin rather than hit it deeply into the blade. If you are able to only use the topsheet and the sponge to create offensive strokes on your control blade, it becomes very fast. But too much friction between the rubber and the sponge has caused it to become softer, thus powerful for topspinning attack game.
so i got this rubber with a friendship 729 carbon blade and that might have been a mistake...although the arc and topspin that was produced on good brush loops were outstanding i found the match up with a fast blade and this semi fast rubber with high spin hard to control and hard to get use to but overall a very good rubber except it did not have much control at all i would recomend this for higher skilled players who can handle a combo with high speed and spin
Gave the legendary H3, 2.2 NEO sponge, a try after a few months with a Tensor (Vega Pro B 2.0). This will certainly remain as my FH rubber for quite some time. After some stroke adjustments, control is excellent and there are many gears, slow when slow stroke, tackiness helps, and when driving, you see the ball where you want to put it, with power and spin. Excellent ratio in value per price. Any offensive player needs to try this at least once.
Okay I have tried this rubber on a few different blades now. This rubber is a little hard to get used to. Has a large gear range. Needs to be used by an offensive/aggressive player. The ball curve/arch on this rubber is crazy! I've never used a rubber with as close to as much hook while looping. Once I got my looping consistent with it, they were rarely returned. I like this rubber, just be warned it takes some practice to get a feel for it.
I use this on my FH (RED 2.1mm) on a Butterfly Kong Linghui blade.
I loop on my FH from mid distance topspin at close table.
If I load the ball up with side spin and loop the ball is almost undefendable as the ball just spins of the opponents bat and off the table in all sorts of angles.
A very spinny rubber, loads the ball well, opponents and training partners comments have all been positive regarding spin.
Mixed with Skyline 2 Neo on my BH the best combo I have used.

I won't put ratings, just a comment. I've played 3-4 sessions with it so far. 39 degrees. interesting rubber with largest gear range I've seen - so slow on slow shots, surprisingly fast on fast ones. easier for 3rd ball than for longer rallies as it requires more grazing style of looping to be consistent. large throw angle variation, high throw for slow shots, significantly lower with speed shots. makes me harder to determine bat angle because it needs to be more closed for slow loops as they tend to go over the table, while fast counters need not too closed bat to go over the net. because it is this specific it needs some time to get used to. spin is strong (but there are stronger), topsheet is semi-tacky - my red didn't hold the ball even new except for a very brief moment. better for flat-hitting than most chinese rubbers. rewards add!
ing some wrist in FH stroke. less consistent for slow looping. has some sensitivity to incoming spin. good for serving. mine 39 deg does not feel hard without tuning (I never tune)

when i first use it, i'm impressed with it.(my playing style is aggressive topspin strategy). I can make a good topspin with a great speed with my FH better than T64 n T05. I can also make a good service whether the backspin serves or chop serves,it goes perfectly well n very spinny. Looping?? I can say its extremly well than T05 (729 ATT CA Carbon Blade Palio Macro Pro on my BH side H3 NEO are on my FH side.)
Great spin on serves and looping. But had some problem pushing/looping when tsp spectol pushed a ball to me
Cons - Commerical DHS rubbers are always different, from each batch to the next, but nothing to do about that.
Pros - Very good alternative to higher priced rubbers like Tenergys. Less tacky than the original Hurricane 3, which makes this rubber a lot like European/Japanese topsheet with chinese sponge. It will not lift up the ball with picking up a ball with the rubber, but you can hear a slow motion to it. Many gears. The sponge is somewhat softer than the original H3. Serves are very well done. Looping is really easy. Very good alternative to a Tenergy, because my two Tenergy ( 05 and 25 ) died of spin. Great alternative to a high priced rubber, I strongly recommend just buying one sheet of this rubber and try it for yourself.
Oh, and in the beginning at the start of opening this rubber, if you would like to have the sponge even softer ( Like I did ), reglue the rubber several times. It's almost a euro/jap rubber.

Max Sponge, Black. Incredible Control, nice spin and speed, 2 or 3 gears, nice feeling.
Just bought a sheet last week and I use the primorac carbon blade and it is fast! This is somewhat of a traditional chinese rubber being that the sponge it hard and the topsheet is tacky. Once you hit a few times and soften the sponge a bit, this rubber works wonders. Loops are low and spinny, serves spinny, pushes are good too. Love it so far
It took me about a week to break this in.
Loops with side spin have a large hook. Speed is good. Control could be a little better. Feels lighter than Hurricane 2 (commercial). It is a tacky rubber, but not as sticky as my old Hurricane 2.
Durability:
1st month: Peek performance. Excellent spin and speed.
2-3 months: Good performance. Noticeable drop in spin. Speed is a little slower.
3+ months: Average spin and speed. Good control, especially for backhand.

I liked it! Not sure if I'll stick with it but it's definitely fun to play with coming from speed glued Tackifire Special Soft. Nice midcourt power on Neo H3, which is pretty much what speed glued regular H3 provided. Great serves and pushes. My only problems were putting away high balls. It's very difficult with Neo H3's harder sponge but I hope to adapt soon or just twirl like what you see the Chinese players do.
Ultimate forehand rubber. If you play close to the table loop or over the table loop, 3rd ball attack and love to swing hard then this rubber is for you.
Glued hurricane 3 used to be my favorite backhand rubber for the power and consitency but then came the speed glue ban era. I definately believe this is the answer to that era. Plays better than I ever remember a glued hurricane 3 playing. Very consitnent backhand looping and driving rubber. Not to mention excellent spin for serving and pushing.
A very good rubber. My third ball attaks of my forehand has never been better.
Not as fast as the old prov h3 glued up but not too bad.. Unfortunately I ripped my topsheet on my first session, but that was my bad...
pretty good spin.. better than tenergy or whale II
though slightly slower...more controllable and easier to loop bottom spin... but far table lacks some power...
serves are spinny as hell..and short table recieves are pretty controlled as well..
all in all a pretty good rubber..
btw..the neo is softer than the original
good for loopers...recommend harder faster blades =)

Great rubber for the price. Very much like the original H3 but with a bit more zip. Nowhere near as fast or spinny as a glued H3, but that's not an option these days.
This is a great rubber and for a very small price compared to others. Some people say it's slow, because when you play close to the table the tackiness plays an important role, however, if you hit the ball hard.. it bounces quite fast, therefore slow hits are slow and fast hits are fast. Overall great rubber.
the new version of hurricane 3, with built in speed glue effect. i dont know it is a little bit different that speed glued hurricane 3. it seems to be faster with not as much tackiness too me. it is not liek old hurricane 3 where the top shet was completely like glue, this one is pretty smooth, more tacky than tenergy though. the speed is still very good for looping. it feels a lot different than old hurricaen 3 because ball shoots out of the rubber more, also with a little bit more control. i call it a tenergy adaptation to hurricane 3 rubber. i think it is rpetty good, but i prefer tenergy.
This rubber was the component to my first customized racket. I had DHS PG7 blade with this black rubber on forehand and red Yinhe Moon on backhand.( Similar to a chinese setup). It is SPEEDY at first but after a while (1-2 months) the speed drops but gets more control and the spin is almost the same ( Clean it after each session). I played with it before polyball era. It had Ultra Spin then.
This is my second rubber of Hurricane3, my first Neo. I love it, I am happy with the jumping feeling
Out of package, this rubber seems very very slow. The ball basically sticks to the topsheet, and it requires a huge adjustment to your stroke. The sponge feels very dead, very flat, and non-reactive.
After a few more sessions and adding some baby oil, the sponge starts to engage the ball more. The speed becomes a little better, and the tackiness wears off.
Im not a big fan of this rubber, as I want something more bouncy. If you can create your own power though, Im sure it would play fine. The longer you play with it, the more you come to appreciate the racket. I feel the rubber needs to be on a very fast blade, Viscaria and above. That way it doesnt feel so slow and you can get decent speed.
This rubber plays significantly better with booster.

Been using DHS H3 Neo on both FH and BH paired with a sanwei F3 Innerlayer ALC blade. The control is good. The feel is great. Soft touch is soft and spinny and hard hits are very fast. Has good throw as every thing you hit goes fast and manages to fall within the table. Very tacky compared to european rubbers. The harder you hit the better the shots go. Goes well with faster blades that allow the ball to sink in a bit like preferably an innerlayer alc blade. Also tried it out with defensive blades the slow shots, pushes and blocks were perfect but the loops and smashes off a defensive blade were difficult to get a hold on and control as the tackiness and the compounded rebound goes well with harder and slightly firmer blades and not softer defensive ones.
9.5/10 for OFF style. FH: DHS H3 Neo, 2.15mm, 51g (0.249g/cm^2), 39 degrees (Shore A). BH: Yasaka Rising Dragon, 2.2mm, 50g (0.245g/cm^2), 47 degrees (ESN), 37 degrees (Shore A). Blade: Stiga Offensive Classic WRB, 75g, 158mm x 151mm x 5.3mm (Width x Height x Thickness). Hollow handle. Plies: 5 (Wood): Limba - Spruce - Ayous - Spruce - Limba.
a good beginner rubber. Cheap, durable, perfect for build your playstyle. pair on Yinhe Ns8 as fh and ak47 red on bh

You can only use it 1 time on your blade. Because this rubber has it's own glue on the sponge. Once you take it out of your blade, it will lose the original glue. Not suitable for 40+ ball
It doesn't bounce the ball at all. I have to used 3x force to make a return as usual. very disappointed.
I have bought 4 of these sheets over the last 12 months and found that they all lost 50% of their tackiness after playing for 5 or 10 minutes due to a thin dust layer sticking to the rubber. The dust problem translates to inconsistent bounce depending on where the ball hits on the paddle. This drives me crazy. To me this is a real problem with this rubber, other than that, I think the price is fantastic.
First, i'm disapointed at the speed. It's slow, i thought it was an off+ rubbers, or it's something between off- and off. An other problem is the control when you're just a bit late on the ball, this rubber doesn't forgive the errors. But it's amazing for doing heavy and deep topspins, because of the high throw angle and the spinny topsheet. And surprisly the hits without any spin are very easy !!! Better if boosted
Rubber of extremes. Extremely tacky/spinny topsheet, but extremely slow in combination with the hard sponge. Of course, you can smash the ball and it will go flying (sounds like a brick), but loops are way too slow (even if they are very spinny). Very cheap though. Needs boosting to play at higher level.
It was not the best among all Harricane series but with this price tag it does its job well and it is very much dependent on what blade you're using with it. It is tacky it generates enough of spin when you hit hard, speed is great especially when you play attacking game it generates a lot of spins thru the looping. Control is not what you should emphasize on this rubber as it is meant for attacking game or with some defense but you should pair it with a softer rubber on the backhand to allow you to block and to provide you with some defensive play as in most games not all the time you take the lead in attacking but your opponent may counter attack as well. Blocking from mid to far of table is great but when close to table you need to position your blade well in order to return ball with attacking power otherwise most of the time you will be out of control. Actually, the Harricane with blue sponge is a lot more better than any Harricane that with orange sponge. As long as it is affordable go for the sponge rubber version.
Not for me, but it gets the job done. Tacky rubbers are good for players who like to brush the ball more and are confident throughout their stroke. The neo version of hurricane 3 is slightly factory boosted. So if you play legally and want a hurricane rubber, this would be better than hurricane 3.
Nice rubber. Speed and spin(both indicated as 120) is more about 100.
Comparison:
*The Battle1 is faster and imparts slightly more spin.
*The Battle2 imparts much more spin and is about the same speed

Typical Chinese rubber. Suitable for forehand. Fast for a Chinese rubber, and also unusually high throw for a Chinese rubber. I love it.
very tacky at first but its tackiness reduced after 2 week. at first it was a bit slow ,but very spiny. after 2 week it is medium tack and fast enough for close and medium distance.also it seems a bit softer than first day.IMO its good 4 aggressive all round player and spin play.
I prefer it more with its original tackiness.
Update:After some web surfing I found that you should clean this rubber with sweat during the match and pure water after the match. It works well with oil of your palm, so don't use cleaning sponges.I know this is a bit strange and not recommended for other rubbers, but it works well for h3 neo.Now my rubber is tacky as I bought it.
Update:adding some booster without peeling off the glue resulted in softer sponge, better feel, more gear, and significant increase in speed and spin(this increase in not evident during flat hitting).
UPDATE : I hit my bat to the table accidentally and my rubber injured a little .After about 2 week minor parts of injuries disappeared completely and major one reduced a lot. I think it's because I've used my sweat to clean it and tacky protect sheet to protect it.
As other user said this rubber has high throw 4 slow loops and low throw 4 faster loops.

Pros-
Short serves with spin
Tird ball attack with topspin
Control to speed ratio is good. Easy to put good speed and spin on balls and still place them anywhere on the table
Cons-
Don't use for backhand. Just too slow for backhand, in my opinion.
Not fast enough for great long serves. could still do good long serves but not great.

I recently use this rubber for my bh. Nice control but the power is quite lower than i expected. But i can say that this rubber is really suitable for someone that looking for a great control and medium low trajectory.
Good rubber for forehand but only after one month and needs good blade with some flex to bring it to it optimal performance.
Serve: good, but lacks a bit of speed for fast serve
Return of serve: good for short balls but for medium length serves, it reacts to spin a bit.
Opening/3rd ball attack: very nice on the forehand. High throw and really good spin. But need to change technique on looping lower flatter backspin balls, i.e. brush more required.
Block: fine and consistent
Counter: very nice, need to close bat more due to very reactive sponge at mid distance:
Conclusion: Like a euro-jap rubber at mid distance for counter looping, superior than euro-jap for opening loop on forehand, good spin on serve but lacks a bit of speed for long ones, return slightly poorer as it reacts a bit to more to spin. Other con: requires 2 weeks to 1 month to soften and play optimally.

compared to h3 commercial, this rubber has better bounce and zip, lesser tacky though
This rubber is factory tuned. It play very well and fast for the first two weeks. But after then this rubber is dead. Need to boost. You have to swing big to activate this rubber if you can play like the Chinese player this is a deadly weapon!!! Spin is awesome more than Tenergy 05. HN3 rubber is not very spin sensitive. Short play and service with hurricane neo3 is a dream. Block is ok, can absorb the power of the Opponent thanks the tackiness. Kill loop also very easy. If you play with hn3 you have always be active. This rubber is not forgiving that means good footwork is a must. Otw the ball land every time in the net.
Great Chinese rubber, very tacky, great spin capability, easy to counter enemy rotation.
Good for all kind of play, best for close to table and medium distance from the table. Not hard to chop either, with proper adjustment. Also not heavy on the blade (under 50 grams cut). Biggest downfall of this rubber is driving against high balls, it's very unstable and for a save shot you need to impart some kind of spin in your smash otherwise you will most probably hit the net or over the table...

Here are my first impressions:
First thing I noticed was the packaging was made of very cheap-looking paper, the first time I've seen a rubber not encased in hard paper. Also the serial number couldn't be found anywhere on the internet (fake alert?)
Out of the packaging the rubber had VERY little tackiness. Something that schoked me. H3 NEO is known for tackiness!
I glued onto a Donic Persson Exclusive OFF, and to be honest wasn't impressed with what the rubber had to offer.
H3 NEO is a spin rubber, yet it produced VERY little spin, but was surprisingly fast! On the looping and blocking side the ball seemed to rocket off my racket, but with very little spin to my surprise.
They say this rubber needs a 'breaking in', and I've only used it in one session. I will wait to see how it performs after boosting too.

Alright, It does provide good spin better than Skyline Neo 3 but the problem is the rubber is way too hard and even after a full year of getting used to it I feel that I still dont get much feel out of it.
I am retiring this rubber for something else.

Updated! ... from 2020.
Facts: 37 degree sponge, 2.15 mm thick. Weight, orig. packed (shrink-wrapped!) 76 g., uncut with film 60 g., net 56 g. On my OFF + blade (156 x 150 mm) 44 grams.
Usually I did not want to write a review about this gum because my disappointment with it was very big and does not at all agree with the opinions of other users. I will never understand why sticky DHS rubbers supposedly generate more spin than non-sticky ones! - even if the stickiness of the rubber logically creates a greater rotation with slow striking movements. I believe that these rubbers only develop their full potential with the help of tuners.
Recently, however, I bought a Stuor blade called the "Nobilis ZLC Hinoki". (- Report on this under "no brand" !!!) As has recently been known, Hinoki is supposed to improve the rotation level of rubbers as an outer veneer. ... which is obviously true. ( - Thank God !)
My experiences were not comparable to the current one. The low speed and the low catapult had surprised me, the poor spin development (regardless of whether Koto with ALC or SZLC blades or solid wood) was completely disappointing. - I even asked myself, "did I catch a FAKE?" I only liked the throwing angle, as it is pleasantly high. Despite everything, I think this rubber is completely overrated!
Conclusion: If this rubber had more speed and catapult, it would also be recommended for the university of applied sciences, but at best it is recommended for the bra. However, I am sure that if you use booster, you will be happy with it at your FH too!
Ultimate recommendation: it is essential to use a blade with Hinoki outer veneers, such as the "Stuor Nobilis ZLC Hinoki" !!! (- ... this increases the spin rating by about 0.4 points.)
