Good control, easy to chop with. If you block, it creates a knuckle ball, it doesn't really reverse the spin. It feels too slow sometimes (maybe I'm just not used to it).

This rubber is awful In my opinion. Even in OX it has super high throw and horrible for chopping. I normally play LP and Heard good things about this one but I am very disappointed . It was even worse receiving service

My favorite hardbat rubber. Least spinny of all the approved hardbat rubbers but gives you the most feel of the blade. Most similar to the classic Leyland rubber.

This has to be the best rubber for chopping you can chop anything unfortunately all it does is kill the spin and can set your opponent up for drives however it's deception is good on the basis your opponent doesn't expect drives, loops and smashes to be returned with so much ease and so low the rubber is very slow even on a fast blade great fun to use and brilliant practice rubber for learning to chop with pips

I bought this stuff since it is on the approved hardbat list and is cheap compared to some of the other stuff. I have it on a DONIC Esprit defensive blade and it works well, My other hardbat is a Gatien Yasaka allround with Yasaka A-1-2. The Dr Evil is slightly less lively. I play spong pips on my back hand in open play and stroke about the same. I don't think its all the weird. Don't put sponge under the stuff!!

For hardbat I like it. I will try playing against some spinners to see how it works in that venue. I rated the rubber high for hardbat-where control is the main issue

Haha this is a fun rubber to play around with. It is a pips out rubber, it is ideal for hard bat players, because the feel of it is just so awkward. The rubber feels so hard, it almost seems like the rubber is dried out (but its not). Its really fun to play with, because you can return a killer loops as a barely moving floating ball, for exmaple. The control is very fun, you can control the spin reversal, the placement, and the depth of the ball vastly. You can also chop with it (and it is very strange chop feel) and also smash with it. This is what a lot of top hard bat players use.

Switched from inverted rubbers to short pimples on the left for the first time. These pimples are great - powerful and fast backhanded shots (I have a defensive def base), pokes and blocks are good, you can do a chop from the middle zone - excellent control, especially when playing at the table. Of the minuses - it is extremely difficult to actively play on the forehand with these pimples, only defense with chops. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try active play with pimples.

A really really fun rubber. It's hardbat like quality and it does two things well. Number one chops well. Number two switches from defence to attack in an instance. Best to play aggressively. The key is this........hit and hit hard. Hard and flat. Pretty insensitive to incoming spin, and that gives it's authority to play aggressive and hit/kill the dam ball. It's better playing fairly close up to the table, use the angles, use flicks, and off the bounce pressure your opponent relentlessly. Fall backwards and you can chop, but I believe attacking more productive.

I'm an old school defender that rarely attacks, this is the best rubber I've found overall, with a number of useful qualities I like.

While not to the degree of anti spin it is fairly insensitive to opponents spin, useful both in serving and rallies. It has great control, in part because of its insensitivity to spin. It can also generate significant spin through chopping. I rate it about a 7 for spin and can't understand why the rating on here is so low. I was playing with this and gambler reflectiod on the other side whilst twiddling and thought they were the same for spin - had to get rid of reflectoid for more variation.

It is also good for smashing in OX. It has gears in the sense that it's very slow usually, but if you hit it hard and it hits with the wood.

Lastly it is outstanding at returning opponents smashes, because it's so slow and insensitive to spin.

The downside is that it isn't great for topspin shots or serves. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Good as a hardbat rubber. Feels a tad fast for chopping to me - definitely don't put sponge under it (it is made for OX use). Blocks okay, but doesn't reverse like an LP.

I glued an Ox sheet on the sponge of some RITC 2000 Tackspeed in 1.8mm tickness.
This makes it even harder, but gives you some attacking possibilities.
I put this on the BH of a Yinhe MC-1 off blade with 729 5 2.2mm on the FH.
Flat hitting makes the ball skid off the other end of the table, chopping produces a float effect. If you punch block I have to judge the speed of the ball as it tends to just drop of your bat and hit your side of the table, to hard and it floats off the other end.
Takes some getting use to, as I am normally a two sided hitter/looper.
Caused my opponent some problems for a leg but he then got used to it's effect.

Nice and deceptive rubber. I use it on my backhand and am able to counter spin easily and still chop the ball effectively. Not a lot of feel since there is no sponge. I do get winners with the knuckleball effect.

SHORT VERSION
This is more "Cursed" rubber rather than "Evil" rubber,

because while the rubber itself no evil, it spin changing capabilities tempting me for "doing evil". :)

LONG VERSION
Want to try 0.5 mm, but can't find it anywhere in Bogor, Indonesia, so I tried ox instead, on Defense Alpha blade.

Even at ox, this rubber is not too slow, faster than superblock, and just a little bit slower than Tackiness Chop 2

I can generate good spin on chop, just less than Tackiness Chop 2, better than Feint Long 2, but I can kill the spin with simple push, so, using very small blade manipulation, range of spin can be generated [Insert Evil Smile Here]. :)

No reversal, just what I want. :)

Choosing it over Superblock. :)

UPDATE
Found Tulpe Sponge 0.6 mm, and attach it behind Dr Evil.

Better spin and flat hit than ox, and spin killing characteristic intact. Similar speed to Tack Chop 2. Became slightly more susceptible to incoming spin. Will keep it for now. :)

UPDATE
Tulpe sponge too fast! Good player kill me! All my chop fly lo~ng to next table T T

Changing to Blutenkirsche, and I shall update the result. :)
