I highly recommend this blade for every one. It is very cheap and good in feeling. The handle is very beautiful. This is a 7 layers blade( limba limba ayous ayous ayous limba limba). The 3 layer of ayous is similar thickness. It is good for control and defensive. It is easy to play than cl but less speed and spin compare to cl. When you try to defense, it is extremely stable and didn't has much vibration. If you try power loop, the vibration is much more than fiber blade but less than cl. Conclusion, It is a easy version of CL, defense is just excellent. Compare with fiber blade( Samsonov Cb, Timoboll ALC, Yasaka Alnade) the speed will be slower but the ball is much more spiny. The blade is in the middle of CL and fiber blade. Loop like CL, defense like fiber blade. I highly recommend for this blade. Sorry for my bad English.

papan ini lebih kurang CL, lagi easy control, lagi best in defense, tapi power loop dengan spin kalah CL. Defense feeling macam fiber panpan. Boleh try kerana murah. Jika you nak cari blade yang syok main bukan banyak susah, blade in yang sesuai.

Mine weighs 84 grams. It has occasional variations which make my shot less consistent. The handle is comfortable. Pretty good feedback and generally good enough to perform basic strokes.

Fextra is one handy blade. I got mine for 6500 Rs here in Pakistan. Its really a consistent blade very forgiving with awesome control. Perfect for intermediate players. The thing about this blade is that someone who uses it for some while knows exactly where his shots will land a good thing to have when you lack control. This product is the king of controlled attack.

I had this blade before and the handle feels so good. I used mercury 2 on both sides and loop, block chop was a breeze not to mention the speed. This blade is a good buy given the performance and the price. I highly recommend this for both beginners and intermediate.

I love my Fextra ,feel of the ball is great handle so comfortable. Its no a speed monster but has all the speed that you need just love to play with this blade gives me joy and happiness . I'm using rasanter r 42 fh and Tibhar 5 q on bh,5q on this blade is just ok but rasanter just great. I highly recommend this blade.

This blade is good for 25, it is a mid tier wood blade that has nice flex. The top plies are limba and the 3 cores are ayous. The core is probably the worst part about this blade, it gives control but not stability. I paired this with Hammond z2 and joola rhyzm. Spin is great, Matches spin of hurricane 3 easily. But the feeling is pretty bad, it doesn't give you reinsurance on high end shots. Overall a solid blade with a lot of control, you see a lot of people complain about control because of this stability issue. Don't mind them and try it for yourself, i like this much better then Stiga Infinity vps

These are my comments after using this blade for 10 months: My ST handle weighs 90g and is exactly 6.0mm thick. ST handle circumference is 94mm which is very thick. Blade weight is towards handle, so not head heavy. The blade has a soft, somewhat flexy feeling with ALL+ speed. This is classic limba+ayous structure, so you will have lots of feeling & control. It also has a very high throw angle, so you need to really close your bat angle and have a tight grip. This blade pairs best with medium hard (47.5 degree) Tensor rubbers like Xiom Vega Pro and Nittaku Fastarc G1. This a great blade for beginners and intermediate and is only 20 USD!

The first impression about this blade is great control specially on backhand and forehand shots, with good speed when hitting, also good for loops. A little slower than my old stiffer blade (T-11) but increase more spin in the ball. For serves is great with good amount of spin and good control to send the ball at the desired position on the table. I'm using both rubbers with tensor and paired very well with Fextra, so stoked.

I bought this blade because of the good reviews I read, and of course because of the price, so I decided to give it a try.
My main setup is (or was) Stiga Infinity with Rakza 7 2.0 mm on fh and Bluefire M2 2.0 on bh. This setup plays well, but I never get used to the hollow feel and sound of the Infinity. Once I got the Fextra I glued a Xiom Vega Pro 2.0 mm on fh and a Vega Europa 2.0 on bh on it, which I never tried before. I made a test during a training session changing the blades every 10 minutes. I was really surprised with the performance of this setup. Speed and general feel is better than Infinity, it's spinnier and also better balanced and even feels lighter. Infinity is a bit head heavy compared to the Fextra, but I think the XIOM rubbers are also playing an important roll on this. Workmanship is also excellent. I thought Stiga's Master handle was perfect for me, but Fextra's handle which is slightly "thicker" is just perfect for my hand. Aesthetically Fextra looks like Stiga Carbonado but has 7 plywood Clipper structure. Some people call it a clone, but I thinks it isn't. Despite it's affordable price It is is a high quality blade inspired by the Swedish brand but with it's own character: Clipper's wood layers are: Limba, Ayous, Ayous, Ayous, Ayous, Ayous, Limba, and Fextra's are Limba, Limba, Ayous, Ayous, Ayous, Limba, Limba. Will try with different rubbers later. For now, I think this blade will stay in my hand a long time. I really like it.

Wow. I don't usually review, but this blade deserve a great one. Stable and balanced. Paired with Donic Acuda S1 2.0 (BH) and DHS Goldarc 8 Max (FH). Control with the Goldarc 8 is amazing. Very forgiving. You can brush, top, smash, chop and do practically anything with high precision. Not stiff not too bland. Not a demon speed like ACL's or other carbons, but it adjust to the player potential. With the S1 in the Backhand is tricky but manageable. Flips are amazingly precise and powerful, smashes as well. Chops in both sides are near the net and difficult for the opponent to respond. Overall I'll give my points with 10 as Max: Speed 8.5, Control 9.5, Stiffness 4.5, Hardness 5.0.

This blade is almost an amalgamation of a 5 and 7 ply, so has the the best of both worlds. A bit thicker (6mm) than a traditional 5 ply, it is slightly more stable for blocking and flat hits, but being thinner than most 7 plys, it still loops and topspins really well.Medium hardness and some flex give you good arc and the sweetspot is large for an all wood blade. It's off- in nature with that great wood feel and excellent control. I've had about 6 sessions with this blade and it compliments my spin based allround/offensive style. Very reasonably priced (about $30 US dollars),
it is a blade that has made a very good impression on me. Tested with Yasaka Shining and Rising Dragon 2mm.

Weight: 89 grams; Plies: 7; Thickness: 6.02mm approx.; Speed: OFF; At first glance, it seems that the handle of a Stiga Carbonado was copied but that is just it. This blade is simply the best on what it does - attacking! Even though it has the same composition with the Stiga Clipper wood, it plays better with the same fee. The Fextra has some softness on ball impact and is good for looping. The fextra is actually a very fast blade. It is faster than the regular clipper wood and almost in the level of the Adidas Challenge speed. Top plies are limba-limba followed by ayous layers of wood.

Awesome and superb blade. Outstanding feel and touch. Not speedy. Control just amazing. Handling from the other planet, i'm going sleep with it in my hand))))

Sanwei Fextra 7 is medium stiff blade. This is definitely NOT a Stiga Clipper clone. I have both blades and can compare. FEXTRA plays and feels different: it is more stiffer and harder. It pares well with soft-medium sponge rubbers (H36-40). My FEXTRA is 101g and 7.2mm thick. It is very heavy and thick for my preference. I personally like Clipper more because it feels better, more flex, more spin, more control and it is lighter. You get, what you are paying for.

Maybe one of the 7ply with best touch/feel of the ball outta here. I love this blade with medium soft rubber. A lot of control and spin with a comfortable handle. It cost only 20$ or so and I think you have to try this blade without regrets. Maybe similar in some aspect to stiga clipper but with more control and a bit less speed. Approved!

This is a discontinued model from SANWEI, however they are still available from AliExpress. I picked an ST handle one up for AU $24.99 with the goal of using a training setup that isn't super fast, but has high levels of control and provides feedback when I'm producing lazy, passive strokes as well as when I put effort and intentional driving/looping. Weight is about 95g.

First thing I need to say is that after I paired it with a heavy, tacky rubber such as the Nittaku Hurricane 3 pro turbo orange sponge, it just didn't give that responsiveness working through the gears that I was after. Having said this, I've now got a yellow sponge Palio AK47 ( also on Ali Express for around AU $15) and on the backhand, a FastArc G1. this setup offers a great level of control, but you can also produce the speed as long as you input quality strokes and strong force from mid-to-long distance from the table. The ST handle is rather thick but felt good in my hand, of course you can always sand it down to make it thinner to your liking.

All in all this is an excellent, budget-friendly blade that suits offensive players, with an emphasis on control over speed.

The biggest advantage of this racket is the control. It fits perfectly with both short pimples and smooth rubbers. The speed is not very high but enough to finish the attack. Perfect for the intermediate level. Beginner players can also use this masterpeace. The softness of the blade gives a lot of rotation and margin for error. I've had "boards" $100 more expensive than this one, but none of them had such great attributes.

received 88grs. FH and BH rakza 7. rubber is used more than 6 months before i put it on fextra. its not slow.. but not very fast either. very good for looping. i tried this blade with other rubber like Rasanter 42, hurricane 3 neo, yinhe moon pro, and rakza for me was the best setup. had the most spin, controlled, and enough speed. compared to my other blades Yinhe Pro 01, and Timo Boll Spirit, it is a little bit slower with better control. it doesnt block as good as the other blades. it also has better feeling compare to TBS. I'd say the speed rating is All+ to OFF-.

My favorite table tennis blade,This blade is fantastic! You can do anything with it, spin 10
Trully amazing

In the beginning, i paired this blade with TSP Ventus spin, replacing my STIGA OFF CLASSIC with the same setup. This blade was fast when close to the table but it lacks of speed while you move away from it. Also a lot of balls landed to the net but this was because of the rubbers. I change the TSPs with DONIC BARACUDA and the problem was solved. It didn't change the speed but the ball landed to the end of the table, putting the opponent under pressure. Due to the flex of the blade it creates tons of spin and the control is...ok. Just ok.
I recommend this blade for sure but to intermediate to advanced players who play aggressive game close an mid from the table. Not for beginners for sure.
The price is just SUPER, better than STIGAs and BUTTERFLYs and it needs lacquering.

I have been on a long search for a blade JUST like this!! A blade that is you can go with further, and up your game. Now I know that some pain associated with getting good blades, and good rubber, doesn't exactly mean you get good results!

I came from Clipper with Hurricane long time ago (it was long time ago, but I remember the rubber was heavy for me, and my skills were different too, so I ditched it).

My main setup was, up until now, Xiom Zetro Quad with Xiom Vega Europe >now with Vega Pro.
Zetro is a fantastic blade and a good combo, but I great difficulties with ball landing where it's supposed to be while top-spinning away from the table. I even started to think I should have taken classes just to fix my skill.
After 2 games with Fextra, I was stunned. Turned out I had the skill, it was just a combo that doesn't match my style.

I had a pair of Palio HK1997 BH, and CJ8000 on my N-9 blade (which was amazing, except for top-spin based game). I got Fextra to be a backup for Zetro/Vega Pro combo. Now with Palio rubbers is my main setup.

Here I shortly what makes it a winner:
- the speed is just great, not too fast. somebody mentioned that it responds to the skill and speed of the player, i can totally see that too
- it's very spinny
- the control is fantastic (almost as good as N-9 (the king of control imho :)
- it gives confidence to my game (i am usually off- attacker)
- on top of this it's excellent in defense (both close and far)
- with this combo my spin became really evil, and some serves are harder to "get"
- i was able to up my game immediately, and compete better with my partners playing with Ma Long 3 blades, and Tenergies 5
- this blade gives me a amazing feeling that ANYTHING is possible

The only negative side of this blade was that mine was a bit heavy, FL at 90g. I ordered ST, too, that came at 85g. That's slightly better!

The 2nd will hold a pair of Vega Pro. I'll report back on that combo, but I expect it to be at least as good as Fextra/Palio combo.

I just wanted to try it because of the similarity to stiga carbonado. Its great feeling the speed is not too fast but just need to let go your hand and the ball is just on the table. I use it with xiom rubbers. I love the sound of the blade. Backhand side no matter how i hit the ball still makes it on the table. This is my most secure blade.

A fabulous blade from Sanwei. 7 ply blade with Limba-Ayous-Ayous-[Ayous Core]-Ayous-Ayous-Limba construction.
The Limba -Ayous provides good flex and adds to the topspin capabilities of the blade. I used to play with the DHS Hurricane Long 3 blade (Ma Long 3) and was looking for a off- blade with similar capabilities. This was it!!!
I tried the Stiga Clipper, Tibhar Samsonov Force pro and few other blades but ended up liking the Sanwei Fextra 7.
No other blade at this price range is more suited for spin based game play.
On a comparative scale - DHS Hurricane Long 3 > Sanwei Fextra > Stiga Clipper > Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro > DHS PG7
Rubbers - This blade works well with both tacky and non tacky rubbers. I used a boosted DHS Hurricane 3 on my forehand and Tibhar Evolution MXP on my backhand and the results were impressive. I tried the MXP on the forhand side too and surprisingly it performed well for heavy spin based play style. Never felt any lack of control.
Verdict: If you can afford and handle the DHS Hurricane Long 3, go for it. Else the Sanwei Fextra 7 is a good substitute with reduced speed and added control for topspin based plays

1700+ rated UK player so take the review accordingly.

Haver tried many blades including TSPBalsa 8.5, TB7, Stiga Master, tibhar IV-L IV-S, joola Rossi Extreme, Patrick chila, joola k4, with multiple rubbers. Majority have been 1.9mm +
Whilst I've had varied success, I gradually started to use slower and slower Chinese rubbers to try and get some technique and proper strokes. I got to a stage where I liked them feel off this blade with Sanwei Gear Nano rubbers. Provided great control but just lacked that additional speed over the table. Probably more my technique tbh. However I had some advise and just tried Tenergy 64 in 1.7mm on my backhand. Feels really comfortable and controlled. I actually was hoping that the off- blade would counter the speed of the rubber and it's struck a lovely balance. After having spent lots of money on more expensive blades, this cheap blade is actually more than good through for me. I've put on T05 2.1mm on the forehand and whilst it feels fine, i think I may also reduce that to 1.7mm the next time I change. Have always wanted to try the thinner rubbers and I'm glad I've done it now.
The blade actually felt good with Sanwei Gear and also with Big Dipper, but the lower throw off T64 seems to pair nicely whilst still retaining speed. I'll update my review after 3 months to see if I feel it's changed at all.

I ordered a Fextra7 on Shopee. After waiting 10 days, I've just receive it today. After the first time with Sanwei fextra 7, I think I must to create an account on this website to write a review about it.
Exactly, It's the best point/price blade in all blade i've tried so far. The good feeling , comforty handle and acceptable vibration.
At short range, this blade can do all things what you want. Good control, not too fast.. but enough speed to have a power smash.
At long range, I need to increase power to have a good shot..
I love Chinese blade, so all blade I have at this moment come from chinese brands. I think this Sanwei Fextra 7 will be at its best if you combine it with hard rubber ( fh) and softer rubber ( bh)
The combo I use : DHS H3 - SANWEI FEXTRA 7- Initial Speed. total price : 45$. With this price, what I received was amazing .

The Sanwei FEXTRA 7 is very similar to the Stiga Clipper wood. I bought my Fextra, long strait handle, for under $20 (USD) from AliExpress. I had some extra rubbers around that I took off some very fast blades. They were the Victus, V-15 Extra and the Xiom Omega VII Asia. Thes are very good, fast rubbers. The Fextra added the control I needed, and I was still able to manage a lot of speed. My regular setup is the Clipper Wood Classic with Fast Arc G-1 on both sides. The Fextra setup a little bit more speed but the G-1 setup has a little more control. Both blades are great loopers.

Great blade. Feeling better than stiga clipper. Has nice cracking noise at harder shots. Best paired with Nittaku G-1. Try it. Worth every penny. For $20 usd best blade. I would choose fextra over some yasaka and stiga blades.

Surprisingly light for a 7 ply. Very comfortable straight handle marginally thicker than anything from butterfly. Large sweet spot, works well with attacking short pips. Very different feel to other 7 ply blades such as PG7 which is harder and more direct and had a greater tendency to head heaviness.A veritable steal at the price:

My sanwei fextra is 90 grams. But feels light, mabe because of good balance. Rubbers are boosted DHS hurricane3 max on both sides. I have played for 3 months. It has lots of dwell time, maybe so much that sometimes it makes looping harder. But in general it is decent looping blade. Very good for block, push. But blocks are easy to return. It goes higher after the ball bounces opoonents table. I have played with much better blades which do much better blocks. Its sweet spot is only in the center which bothers me. That's why it often doesn't make enough arc during topspins. Sometimes it goes straight when I do topspin which is very weird. Not powerful, I expected more power but unfortunately. Not super fast. It is off, not off+. In terms of control, block, push, dwell time it is better than my previous blade stiga offensive classic carbon. I will change to different blade because of its poor sweet spot.

Update. I am still playing with this blade because I still didn't get my new ordered blade. I tried MX-P on FH, goldarc 8 on the BH. It became faster but it feels too soft. And it is not fast blade. Opponents can easily return even my loops. Blocks are slow. I am tired of this blade. Looking forward to get my new blade...

I really don't understand what the hype about this blade is for. The finish on it is pretty good and minimal sanding was needed for the wings to be comfortable. The handle was large, thicker than Stiga Legend handles, but not too large for my hands. This blade excels in slow shots: service and return, passive blocking and chopping are all very well controlled. However, every attacking shot felt extremely muted. I felt like no matter how hard I hit or tried to load my shots with spin, the ball would come off the racket with 20%-30% less of both. That's a good gimic for confusing your opponent I suppose, if they're expecting balls to come at them with a certain amount of speed or spin. But it was also frustrating for me. I tried this blade with MX-P on both sides as well as Hurricane 8 on a few different occasions to see if it made a difference; I also ensured the glue job was right and the feeling each time was the same. If you're a defensive type of player then this blade should suit you well. However, as an overall attacker and both-sides looper, I did not enjoy my experience with this blade.

Handle is absolutely beautiful and comfy. This blade is a must have and it's worth every dime paid for it. Blade is not fast as carbon blades but it has way more control than carbon blades. Most shots will land on the table. Slow game will frustrate your opponents playing fast with carbon blades. I beat 1800 rated-2 players 3-0 on the first day of using this blade while using cheap chinese rubbers on both sides. This blade excels in chops and backhands. Also topspin is effortless. Let me say this again. Handle of this blade is f..kkg amazing. I am gonna buy 1 more. Great blade to practice. Then go play the tournament with carbon blade. No more butterflys!!!!!!

I bought this blade because my Butterfly Zoran Primorac veneer peeled off after a month of purchase, and of course because of the positive reviews and low price (twice low than Butt).
This blade is definitely slower and softer than Butt (I used the same DHS Gold Arc 5 42.5 and 47 degrees rubbers on both sides), not much, but still noticeable, which is why I leaked the first tournament with this blade. it takes time to get used to it.

I had only a few short hit with Sanwei Fextra.Nice blade classic Limba wood construction Clipper like structure. Also known in Europe Nordic 7 Gluing technique from Japan. Sanwei is an innovative and very interesting Chinese blade maker and I could not resist got it from Megaspin for $22 unbeatable.Do not let the low price fool you.A good blade comparable to my trusted Clipper in quality, finish.A good back up to my Clipper.I modified it to Chinese C-Pen from shakehand flared handle. One more 7 ply limba blade in collection of 17 blades.Hope was helpful ....

Amazing blade.Super cheap.Superb spin and feel.Good control, speed is not super fast, but good enough so it allows a fast swing for loops to still land to the table. The best thing however is the HANDLE-simply the best I ever used.I am using it with Baracuda(donic)(black),donic coppa gold(red). This handle is helping me with my BH drives, the wood absorbs sweat-so despite having super sweaty palms-I feel confident that this blade will not slip.
