Very fast and light rubber. Only for attackers

I bought this because I thought the sponge was medium, but it's medium-hard or maybe a little firmer. The throw is very low, so it's a struggle to loop with it. It is fast. Spin is not good for low power shots, because the ball can't sink into the rubber. This rubber has too little spin associated with my effort. It's hard to get the ball to travel in an arc, like you can get with, say tenergy 05. You have to re-adjust all your paddle angles. Also, this rubber has speed and spin qualities just like DHS NEO SKYLINE TG 2. However, it is fair to say that I played with this rubber for only one day. I may post an update as I play more with this rubber.

Good rubber but low throw, makes difficult to loop effectively. Good for smashers , blockers and power players. Not good for me. Rubber however is top quality, it just doesn't suit my game.

I've played with the same sheet of Boost TX rubbers for about a year now. It's still as sticky as it was the day I bought it even with deterioration at the edges due to wear and tear. The attributes that make this rubber so well received is no joke, this rubber is very fast even high level players are surprised by it.

It's a soft rubber that has a very springy snap to it. Very long dwell time makes serves very spinny and pushes very versatile.

this is a very good backhand rubber, if low-throw rubber is your thing. It produces a fast ball, even though I'm using Donic Epox Control, with enough spin to kill a rally. Chops very well, too, and the control is really good, but I would give most of the credit to my blade. A bit brittle. After around 6 weeks of playing, approximately 10 hours a week, the sides start to crack, but is still playable. All in all, it is for keeps. Very good rubber for a low price.

This my backhand rubber atm. I am satisfied with it. I needed to replace Rakza on my bh because of it's higher throw. I wanted to find a fast rubber with lower throw. This rubber should be faster than Almana (from Stiga website product details), but it isn't. It is fast, but it's speed is almost identical to Rakza (additionally I don't feel any extra high catapult effect, it performs linear. You can feel much stronger catapult effect with Rakza). Throw angle is medium-low, exactly what I was looking for. So it is 50/50, I was expecting more speed. I'm keeping it anyway. It has a very good spin, nice controll (it isn't too sensitive to incoming spin comparing to Rakza). The sponge hardness is medium, something around Tenergy. On the other hand not a high speed bomb as Stiga claims. I recommend it to eveyrone for close to the table allround attack-block game. If it was faster... 8/10.

Sorry for double post, I didn't notice I wasn't logged in.

EDIT (December 2011) I'm replaced Boost by Rakza again. Boost is an awesome rubber but it it plays best close to the table. I play more from the mid distance and Rakza is better in that.

I recently bought a custom paddle with this rubber on my FH and Hammond ProB on my BH. By far and away this is the fastest and most spinny rubber I have played with (on my FH). My only complaint is that the throw angle is quite low and I find myself having to use more shoulder to loop heavy underspin. This is not a big problem and only requires a minor adjustment to correct. I LOVE THIS RUBBER!

I have this rubber on my forehand and backhand on a stiga optimum 7 blade and this is a weapon in the right hands. The rubber it self is very fast but is also accompanied by a lot of control. I would rate this rubber 10/10

the best stiga rubber i have tryed so far, has all the right ingredient to do just about everything. very durable rubber, excellent speed, spin, control. just a little less spin than tenergy 05, but overall i prefer boost tx. the sponge feels about 38 degrees.

It's the popular Rubber after Stiga boost TS and All-around use.

In generally .. It's perfact for all:

every thing in this rubber is pefect ( control, sound, speed and spin )
You can use it in both ( forehand and backhand )

easy to use ... you can't find any thing in this rubber is wrong.

I love this rubber more than any rubber.

a very good rubber for spining and speed. It lasts way longer that avrage as long as you look after it well.the spin is probarbly as close as it gets to TENSION 05! only use if you are a very good table tennis player

i have used all boost rubbers, and definitely this is the best there is, my first set up was a stiga tube light, with boost tc and boost tp, the boost tp i used it on the BH, and now i have a nittaku kvs with a tenergy 05 for FH and boost tx for BH, and hell yeah is a great combo, great looping on the BH and the BH topspins are just miracles!...definitely the best stiga rubber out there

My perfect backhand! Excellent touch, beautiful control and superb sound.

Good speed, good spin, not quite as much as Tenergy but maybe as close as it gets.

I use max sponge, feels lovely, no Cons, recommend it to everyone, the sponge isn't too soft nor is it too hard, perfect throw angle for all types of gameplay.

10/10 Gears.

The best Stiga rubber of the new generation together with Boost TC. I like the feel of it. Speed and spin is up there with the best.

I have two Boost TX rubbers 2.0mm on a Stiga OC WRB blade. This is a very light combination and I absolutely love it.
I didn't take the Boost TC because I don't really like a very soft sponge to play with. The TX has great speed & spin, while it gives you a good feeling of control. I had to adapt a lot to the speed of the rubber on my backhand, because my first 10 hits went over the table, but once I got the right feeling blocking, hitting & looping went very easily!
