A lot better then Aurus Sound, slightly more quality in shots and bit more speed. Still the ball quality is low and not deadly. Spin is alright, 6/10 compared to H3N. Best paired with Carbon blades

Has a lot of speed and spin but not high end like MX-P or MX-S and suited for medium-far distance has a lot of control and dwell time

I have used the auris soft as bh rubber for almost two years, and I play twice a week
I am using xiom vega pro as blade and xiom vega pro as fh.
the rubber is very consistance and can open backspin ball easily, you can also do easy blocks and control the ball well
the speed is fast once you hit the blade through the rubber, but if u rely on the rubber itself, the speed is slow and your opponent can block the ball easily.
I would say it is very good for beginner to medium level players, because it can help you build a good feeling for the backend opening and blocks, but if you want to very good quality balls or want more power from the rubber itself, it is not very good. I just bought a piece of stiga manstra m to replace it for my bh, hope it can enhance the power and spin on my bh

Great experience with this rubber. I've tried it on BH paired with Nimbus Allwood blade. Very easy to block and control speed and spiny ball from the opponents. BH flick is effortless...Nice rubber.

I would say it's a good rubber for spin oriented players, but I still prefer the evolution series. Worth a try though, there are many people out there who have stick with this one

Great rubber for spin-oriented player. Great for people that are learning to play the game but lacks the power for top tier players. Personally I like the feel it has and that it is very spinny. On the other hand it is quite spin sensitive too...
Great do it all rubber.

Hi, i'm was playing Andro Hexer and Xiom Omega EU V on my stronger backhand. Those were rly good rubbers an fit my playing style which is bh-flicking short serves with banana and smashing close to table looping / driving with backhand when in mid / half mid distance. After an ankle injury I am too slow to be in the right position to play my strokes so i was making more unforced errors(the Katapult of these rubbers wich i liked - became too much to handle).

This is where I discoveredAurus soft. It plays very similar to these rubbers but its slower(sponge feels medium-soft) less catapulteffect due to the relative hard tosheet. Throwangle is for such a soft sponge high so perfect for looping. The grippy firm topsheet bites the ball so you have good dwell even on stiff blades which reduces unforced errors.
Short play - rly good because its not that bouncy(1.9 mm).
Players who like the forgiveness of softer sponges but dont like the mushy feeling this rubber may be an answer because of the firm topsheet it provides a more direct feeling than most of the rubbers with similar medium to medium-soft sponge.

I would recommend this rubber to players looking for more control. Perfect rubber to transmit from classic rubbers like Mark V to tensor or just to start playing and develop strokes. Because when driving, the ball gets a good amount of spin and speed and with the control you get you can outplay the oponent.

A teammate uses 2 layers falco long booted Palio Biotech 36-38 and Aurus soft pays like it with better spin potential and without having to boost.

Bought so many soft and sound versions with the same topsheet..now 2017 oktober this rubber is as soft as a lightest select aurus sound and the topsheet feels way softer compared to my other aurus sound and soft i played..back to 05fx wich is allways the same....sorry tibhar...tried it and glued it on different blades but did not work this time

Amazing rubber for beginners and intermediate players. I started out with this rubber and it enhanced my game termiusly! The players in my club were taken back how much I improved once I got this rubber. I played it on a tibhar killer moonlight paddle. Looping is great and easy. Serves produce great spin. I'm always taking points off of serves due to spin. The blade I played with is a all- now I am switching to a off- to speed up a little or actually kinda of a lot. But I am sticking with aurus soft. It can hang with the tenergy or evolution series all day long

I use this rubber on my forehand combined with original aurus and blade Timo Boll Spirit. Great combination. This rubber comes with a softer sponge so loops and topspins are having so much spin. This rubber also offers a wide range of shots and can even play defensive style with this rubber. If you are well trained so you can play away from the table not much efforts are required. Overall its a great rubber for Intermediate to Advance player.

Very similar to normal Aurus but with more control and a little slower. Prefer this over normal Aurus. Serve is very spinny. Best value for money Tensor rubber.

The best backhand rubber I have ever tried !! used it on several types of blades (stiff/flexy) and it has always proved its worth ..
amazing for over the table banana flicks that allow you to open with backhand ..
good grip, medium high throw, medium sponge, and a controlled speed ensure that most of your loops land on the table .... good for blocking as well .... totally satisfied !!

Used this in 2.1 on FH. It is great for looping and every type of shot, but the short game is difficult. You get great spin on serves, but it isn't always easy to keep them short. Mid-distance players will appreciate this the most. Not me, though. If you do get it, though, get it in 1.9.

This rubber is designed for a spin oriented player from half-distance. It has too much dwell time and too high throw for close to the table game.

Spin in serves is very very good.

I bought this rubber to test it as a possible sub for Tenergy 05 FX. On a fast and relatively stiff carbon-hinoki blade it certainly fits the bill, especially on FH. You get a very nice controlled opening spinny loop, and it is more reliable than T-05 FX in blocks and slower strokes. Nice click in power loops. Catapult seems a little better controllable, a bit more linear than with T-05 FX but that's a very individual preference. Very much recommended. Also you can find webstores where they will sell it to you for under 40 dollars, so that's another plus.

This is a great rubber for backhand. It´s fast enought, with very good spin and awesome control. With this rubber you can block everything, and smash in the table so easely.
You can do loop, smash, block, push with no problems. I used this rubber for almost 2 years in different blades and i don´t want to change!!

my new rubber of choice. excellent control and ball feeling for looping. you can loop, block, push, hit with great consistency. do it all rubber, cheaper than tenergy and the other tensors and durable like hell. 5 months of extensive play and minor signs of usage. best match for my Tibhar Stratus Power Wood blade!
