(Available only without sponge)

The perfect allround LP, similar to Joola Octopus, with more deception. Phantom 0012 is one of the best choice for defensive players because of its amazing control and reversal. Chopping is both easy and efficient. Even blocks are easy to do compared to Feints or Curls or even Octopus.

Close to the table game is very easy too, with pretty good deceptive effects : opponents very often misread the amount of spin, causing many "free points". I think Phatom 0012 is just grippy enough to generate its own spin, but in the same time this LP is not too sensitive to incoming spin (especially backspin). This grip allows very tricky serve returns - even against fast serves with no spin!

I'd say that Phantom 0012 is a "easy-to-play" version of Curl P1-R, with same properties and same efficiency... With better control for non-professionnal players!

Definitely one of my favorite LP.

The phantom Infinity 0012 is different form the p.i. 0011 is that it has no sponge. I feel that this one is a more hard bat feel, you can attack with a kind of swooping stroke. It still actually has some of the same feel, the spin is still kind of neutralized instead of reversed, it is very dead. The ball barely bounces, which is awesome for facing loopers, because the looper would have to have incredible timing to hit the shots effectively. This is definitely a rubber for use near close of the table, because it simply does not create enough power on the ball to hit it far, you have to play this rubber by controlling the depth of shots.

I recommend Yasaka Phanton 0012 OX. Is very good rubber to block and attack. Am using this long pip since junly and am very happy.

With Phanton 0012 , i can attack and block well with good consistence. The rubber have soft sponge and is very good to manipulate and very deceptive too.
I never seen long pip ox rubber with good controle an esay to attack than Phanton 0012. Ican attack well , block and chop if is necessary.
With 0012, you can attack like inverted rubber and very, very deceptive for your opponent.

In the forums some of the experienced reviewers had mentioned that 0012 Infinity comes with a textile backing (like say, Phantom 007 or Tibhar Grass Devil OX). What I got in the sealed packet was a piece without any textile backing. That apart, it is an excellent rubber. It is rather slow, falling in the speed range of TSP Curl or Feint series rubbers. Great in blocking and hitting. OK for long range chopping. One can stay long enough in the rally to out-think the opponent. Tried it on many blades but found that it is faring the best on Andro Fibercomp Def ST (Fiber Glass + Balsa) blade. Reasonably durable pimples. One of the old school rubbers with high friction that suits experienced long pimple players with technique and is of no use if one expects to block the top spins by holding out the racket and succeed. Pimples of 0012 Infinity are more flexible than the pimples of 007. 0012 Infinity is faster than 007. Good luck!!

Very good rubber. I use it on a 729 6030 offensive blade. This allows me to chop far from the table and still get the ball back on the table, also it gives additional fast blocks. Very hard for loopers to hit back correctly. Easy to attack with, use red ox with black H3 Neo on my forehand. Wonderful combo that I absolutely love. Although only set back is that I have found it hard to block heavy topsin loops, I find it either going into the net or going too far. Probably an error on my technique or the speed of the blade, but thought i would put it as a concern.

Medium stiffness, long texture-topped pimples. This is a decent all-around rubber. I found it a little faster than others, like Feint 2, Screw, etc. I put it on a slower blade, and it works fine now. It has enough grip to create a little spin. It's fairly predictable to play with. Spin reversal is average. It's pretty good for chop blocking, b/c it doesn't react to spin that much, like say P-1, Feint 3, etc.

I'd recommend it for somebody with a slow blade who wants to have a little springier LP. This rubber rewards active play, i.e., it's not very good just for passive blocking.
