coming from chinese tacky and heavy rubber, what a surprise, despite the non-tackiness, i'm surprised by the speed and the spin effect of this rubber. worth the price !

RUBBER Facts: extra light selected red rubber with 1.8 mm sponge thickness ( ... and 40 degree sponge hardness). Packed 90 g, uncut 55 g, cut on my Zhang JK SZLC replica (150 x 156 mm) only 38 g !!!! I bought this rubber, because I was looking for a lighter BH rubber. In the past I always played BH rubbers with 36-38 g weight and so my blade had a maximum weight of 170 g. (- ... which my wrist likes much better.)
In my opinion, the Desto F4 is relatively hard for a 40 degree rubber, which is probably due to a very tight top sheet. (- my Bluefire BigSlam or my Andro Hexer Grip SFX with 40 degrees, feels much softer.)
Conclusion: It is advisable not to choose the hardest and stiffest blade for this rubber! In combination with my very hard blade, the feel of the game is ultimately too hard and too direct for me, and I lose the actually quite good control that I'm used to . What surprised me in an absolutely positive way about this very inexpensive rubber,is, the very decent spin development. This rubber is an excellent alternative for beginners, advanced users and players who are looking for a controlled BH rubber.
PS: I can recommend the following (German) review to anyone, who would like more detailed information about the rubber. ( ... however, the rubber is specified here with a sponge hardness of 37.5 degrees !!!)

Addendum: This is a call to everyone who thinks they have to rate something (especially speed, spin or control) and use the maximum rating of 10. The rating 10 stands for the maximum possible !!!! - and something like that will only be sold to you by a dealer who lies to you in order to sell his goods.
... AND, please do not enter any ratings in the tables without having written a report !!!!! - with that you are helping "nobody". Please everyone think about it!

The DONIC DESTO F4 is a good rubber....I've been using it for a while now on the ply TIBHAR STRATUS POWER WOOD and I have faced no problems... It gives a lot of speed so it is a great rubber for forehand...It also gives spin but that isn't enough for a great topspin but you can hit an average topspin. The speed and spin together can make you're topsin worthy. The rubber is consistent. So I'd say that this rubber is an excellent rubber if you use it for forehand. Using it as a backhand rubber may cause you some problems... Overall it is an amazing rubber!!! My backhand rubber is STIGA AIROC M and this is a good combination for DONIC DESTO F4!
