Love this rubber- easy to control with enough speed for any intermediate player. A more advanced tournament player will probably want more pure speed and spin. Great for learning strokes and footwork as it is very controllable. Master player Ti Long on YouTube uses this on forehand, so is certainly up to specs for a pro as well.

First Donic blade, the handle enables my previously useless backhand attack to be lethal, even with low over net shots, and I can get terrific speed and whip from forehand loop attack, while keeping push/ chop returns nice and low. Using with Rakza soft rubber I get amazing feel of the ball and control. Beyond my wildest dreams really, suddenly Im winning matches I would have lost.
Compared to Yinhe T-6 and Sanwei HC.5S, this wonderful blade has incredible feel and outstanding control, while still being fast enough. My blade only weighs 75g, so it would be slower than, say, a 85g blade. However, blocking and serving is incredible, while topspins still work perfectly well. The grip is actually quite helpful. Even though I was fearing that my backhand woul get worse, the opposite was true. The rather more "open" grip, supported by Bluefire JP 03 on the backhand really improved my backhand. I put a Blue Acuda P2 on the forehand and this rubber supports a very controlled offensive game. Still, I might be going back to Vega Japan or EL-S or EL-P for a little more power. Anywhoo: Outstanding blade, its rank (currently 13 or 14 - oooh my review boosted it to rank 4!) is well deserved! On top of that, I got mine for only 55, so I am very happy about it.
Due to the handle it makes it easier to get good arcs with forehand this is great for getting side spins to the right, but backhand is more set up for smashes/pushes/counterattack placing a bit harder to keep the ball down and looping. The handle is very comfortable, the best. Take some time to adjust, stokes are a bit different, some benefits some costs. Therefore, consider getting rubbers that suit the setup, like T64, razaka 9 worked best for backhand, and T05fx andro rasant grip forehand. I think due to the angle, you can get away with using a faster rubber on forehand to compensate for the angle. It is important to change your play style a bit to suit the handle as it does make a noticeable difference but it can be a great asset if you play by its strengths.
I did not realize while buying that the handle is setup to use one way only. However, I like the thickness of the handle and feel the cork provides. I am using this with Yasaka Rising Dragon (Red FH, Black BH) and like the spin and control I get.
I've tried this blade with both Rakza 7 Soft and Tenergy 05. The power is probably somewhere in the OFF-/OFF range, but it makes up for a slight lack of power with its high control and comfort of the grip. I started playing with the Rakza 7 Soft first, so I'm more adjusted to that, thus it is still my preferred rubber, but I'm playing with the Tenergy 05 now and will update my review if I adjust to the Tenergy and end up preferring it.
And now 3 years with this amazing blade . Very great balance between speed and control ;-)
Great feel with the anatomic cork handle, excellent for fast drives and no vibration. I feel like my blade is less than the stated 85 grams and am worried about weight as my rubbers are avg. weight. I hope this is just my perception....
A super blade! I use it with Tibhar Genius Sound on both sides.A superb combo, great for touch shots and for killer loops, Genius Sound really generates a lot of spin with this blade. Also blocking with the backhand is fine, you have to get used to the way the handle positions your backhand (a bit open thus looping is more difficult, but gets better in time. In short a perfect blade and combination!
If you get hooked on the Dotec grip then this is the best blade in the series in my opinion. I hope Donic will get a few new Dotec blades, I played with almost all of them and Waldner Carbon is the best.

Its hard to go back after using the handle this blade provides. the Cork deadens the unwanted vibration without killing feel for the ball. the result is a very smooth feel.
