I usually like this kind of blades, Limba + innerforce but not this one. Lacked everything, to stiff not good control at all, slow too.

What a blade! This is currently my main blade along with Viscaria. It's slightly slower but has significantly more control. Feeling is also great - hard to compare to Butterfly as I feel like Butterfly blades have very specific feel that is hard to describe (and I guess that what people pay for). Even though it's slower than the Viscaria it plays better with hard Chinese rubbers which I still don't really understand because I've always assumed more speed = stiffer = better ability to compress harder sponge, but that's just the fact imo. The throw is also very high, I had to adjust a bit after Viscaria because my shots were going long. Spin is also outstanding presumably due to limbs outer layers, significantly more spin than the Viscaria. Fortunately adjusting was also very easy because of the great feel this blade has. Currently playing with Provincial H3 neo H40 blue sponge fh and H8-80 H37 bh.
Great blade.
But i would say speed is not 9.3 is around 8.8-9.
Control is amazing.

I love the innerfiber technology. So this fang bo blade.
Previously I used Harimotto ALC. This two blades almost identicall. with similarly uses a limba wood outer layer, and ALC carbon. giving longer dwell time and providing excellent spin. But the difference is in the thickness core. With the thicker core that the fang bo has, it provides more power and minimum vibration. I'm more comfortable using fang bo.
Somehow I feel that this blade has a heavier forward center of gravity. Makes me more comfortable swinging spin in the middle distance. I love this blade!!!

This blade has a nice backhand with a slightly crisp feeling. Using Mantra Pro M on backhand makes it fast and spinny. Forehand After using DNA Pro H on forehand and I felt it wasn't hard enough. After glueing Hurricane 3 bs 40 it felt amazing. Overall this is just a great blade, build quality is good (which isnt always the case with DHS) This blade doesn't lack anything.
I'm a beginner to intermediate level player who want good control rather than speed equipment.
My combination of Fang Bo B2X is 729 Battle II for forehand and Butterfly Rozena for backhand.
Firstly, It's amazing grip and weight for me. It can make my forehand topspin easier and more precise than my recent blade.
Secondly, speed is not too fast but it enough for both side topspin attack with good control and placement.
Also block or drive against topspin is very very good.
For summarize, it make me happy about everything and I'm surely I will use this blade for a long time with experiment with another rubbers and I will make another reviews after that.

I will buy new rozena for a balance paly. . my bh rubber doesnt fit well with my blade (fang bo alc) ... Sanwei taiji plus.. According to my playmates.. My game enhance using this fang bo alc b2..

My DHS Fang Bo B2X came in at 91.3g, 1442Hz, 6.1mm thick, from princett.com. This is now my favorite blade (out of ~40 blades). I needed a faster blade than the 7-ply clipper-like setup to compensate for lack of stamina in competitions (at 60+ age) against the youngsters. Due to the Limba top I can serve with a lot of spin and control, and with the inner carbon I am getting good acceleration from 3-6 ft behind the table. I am using Yinhe Moon medium sponge forehand, soft sponge backhand (not tacky) and these not to catapulty rubbers work really well with the blade. I also varnished the blade before gluing on the rubbers (recommended for Limba top layer) and sanded the edges, and I am using a Tannius grip tape (from Amazon).
For comparison, this blade is slower than the external carbon Yinhe Pro 01 (Viscaria clone), has more dwell time and roughly the same speed as the Yinhe Pro Feeling, faster than the Yinhe PD-437 (Limba top 7-ply, 1400Hz), more dwell time than the Yinhe PD-537 (walnut top 7-ply, 1400Hz), faster than the Yinhe 970 xx-A (1291Hz).
The handle is a little thinner than e.g. the new Sanwei blades (e.g. HC-5s) but the grip tape takes care of that.
So for me this is speed-wise a step up from the 7-ply clipper structure with similar control.

This is a blade that I have wanted to upgrade to. Coming from the Ma Lin Extra Offensive, I felt as though I had to work extremely hard to get the amount of power to kill people during loops. The Fang Bo B2X is an impressive blade.
Due to the thicker core layer, it pushes the carbon out, and it makes activating the carbon a lot easier. That being said, I have hit with a Long V and I found that it was very night and day difference when the blade has wood feeling, and when hitting hard, a nice click. With the Fang Bo B2X, you don't have to work that hard to get the carbon. I think that it is the best combination since it has the feeling of inner carbon and outer carbon at the same time.
This blade excels at mid distance rallies, short to the table delivers the ball at a deadly speed during 3rd ball attacks with minimal effort.
Touch game with pushes is a bit tougher given how the carbon is easily activated.
Flicks with both backhand and forehand are superb with the right amount of speed
Looping is great with this blade, and essentially has a large sweet spot. If you hit the regular sweetspot of the blade then the ball will be near unreturnable.
Blocking: Blocking is great with this blade no issues whatsoever. Since it is stiff in nature, blocks are consistent.
Service: It is not as strong as the ma lin in this aspect and that is to be expected with carbon.
In my opinion, this blade has medium high to high throw, and provides safety, although forehand technique must be solid, otherwise the ball will shoot out.
I am using this with DHS Hurricane 8 Medium Hard 40 deg, Skyline 3-60 Medium Soft 37 deg.
I recommend this to players who want to take control of the point immediately and want to pressure the opponent at the very start.

The price is nice. It has a good balance of control and power for offensive play. The weight is not too heavy. I like it.
Used both rubbers is razka 7 soft. Very very good control. Its fun to play with and works very well on short and long play. The handle is nice and very good for attacking spin/ flat drive play.
This is too fast for mortal humans. Fur me, it work well...just kidding. It is so fast that i have to back1 meter just to serve, i serve with a fh side/underspin, and im really really agressive in serving. As for the play, its veryfast. Among the 10 fstest blade i tried, but there is still control, and once you tamed it, youre going to have a good buddy for a long time
Extremely fast and stiff blade with a VERY VERY LARGE SWEETSPOT. Pairs well with softer (45 degree?) rubber for backhand and harder rubbers for forehand (only if you are a hard hitter). FH: Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial Blue Sponge. BH: Xiom Vega Asia. Really gives so much spin when looping. However it requires a lot of power and footwork or else ball will go into the net.
This blade is truly a gem. Must-have because of its performance. Switched from DHS PG9 and feel this B2X have the control of PG9, sooooo much balance but with more power. I tried DHS Long 5 but find it very hard to perform flat hit, you have to loop everything (unless you have good footwork and techniques, Long 5 never suit you). All of them are 89gr, rubbers: FH H3 Pro 40deg, BH H3-50 mid. With the same layers construction but the FB series always stiffer than the Long series and the price just only about 1/3. I think PG9 and B2X have the same stiffness but the Limba outer make the B2X have more dwell time and the ALC inner make it more stable. The thicker core compare to PG9 give B2X more power, more than PG9 with Koto outer. Overall it is a very very very well balance so switch FH/BH feel very natural. If your style is quick attack plus loop (Long 5 is loop plus quick attack) this blade is for you surely :D
