This is a slow defensive blade with excellent control. It is great for blocking and chopping. If you think your Harimoto, Ma Long or Timo Boll blade has amazing control then you are delusional. Offensive blades have lower control by definition. Normally defensive blades are large in size to allow covering larger area away from the table. This defensive blade is primarily for close to the table play hence it is small. I would prefer if it were longer. If I wanted it to be short I would sand it down myself. Nevertheless the blade performs admirably on all shots except for killing high balls where you need a fast rubber to deal with it effectively, which negates the otherwise supreme control. You can put fast heavy rubber on one side because the blade is light and you will have a variety of shots available to you.
