I played 1 season with 1,5mm - very good , universal thickness , disruptive rubber. Great satisfaction with. Disruptive , but controlable (more as regulary Killer , wich i tried too). Rubber make this , what I want .... After this season I am trying 1,8mm for bigger offensive options. More offensive , more speed , more loop friendly , little more sensitive to incomming rotation.
Played on custom blade with composite Diolen/aramide , similary to some arylate blade .
Highly recommended rubber!

This rubber rewards close to the table active play. You have to hit the ball on top of the bounce in order to produce a flat trajectory with a noticeable "sink" effect. The best strokes are offensive shots ( flat hits) and blocks. Chops and chop-blocks are also useable, however you have to use these only when out of position. Also don't forget to attack backspin balls to add variety to your game. Overall it is somewhat hard to use in the beginning, however you can level up your game once you master it!

Dr Neubauer Killer Pro with 2.0 mm sponge is very good short pips rubber. Sponge is hard and it has good speed with nice deception. In active blocking, straight hitting and counter-attacking ball has intention to sink. Also, passive block will produce a low bouncing and slow ball. Control is a little better then with Killer or Spinlord Gipfelsturm. It is possible to chop, but with 2.0 mm sponge it is not that easy.

I used killer 1.5mm for my backhand before on a SZLC blade. It's quite deceptive with good speed, but difficult to control. Now I changed to killer pro 1.5mm on the same blade. Control improves and with similar good speed. But the deception is much disappeared, probably due to a harder sponge. So the difference between a killer and killer pro is deceptive vs control. This is always true for pimple rubbers.
