I used to use donic bluegrip rubber before. It was very heavy. I decided to use gewo superselect. Light, flexible and durable. High launch angle, super professional, very beautiful green color that dazzles the eyes of every ping pong player. After this change, I improved a lot in the game of ping pong and became a professional player from a beginner.

I'm a bit surprised that the rubber gets so little attention. It will probably replace my Tenergy 05 at the VH. Serving receive works better and in open play the rubber is just a weapon. Short short ist good. However, the first ball on backspin is a bit more difficult than with the Tenergy, but the trajectory is longer and more uncomfortable for the opponent. All in all, an absolute top rubber from GEWO. Will definitely continue to test it and can only advise everyone to test this rubber. Of course it's not for beginners, that's for sure.
I have this one on one of my Koki Niwa carbon blades and I love it. It doesnt feel 48 on that blade. Pleasure to play with. Grabs the ball well. Great spin. Good speed. Good control. Durability of Gewo has been very good - Above Andro, Xiom and few others that I have tried. One of my favourite combos with my blade.
I find this to be THE tenergy 05 replacement. 2/3 of the price and better performance. This is more plastic ball suitable then tenergy. During looping, the rubber is a beast and releases a deadly attack. During short touches, the rubber is tamed because the sponge isn't as engaged. Highly recommend!
