So I am an avid starter. Rated in the intermediate range. This is the second paddle I have had. First was a Cornilleau Aero.
Currently using Donic barracuda fore and backhand side rubbers at max sponge.
I find that the Hunter is rather top heavy. But speed and direction accuracy is quite good. It did take some getting used to but my forehand loop and smashing came around nicely after about 2-3 weeks of practice. Roughly 6-8 hrs a week around 3-4 times of PRACTICE time. I do really enjoy the paddle. I especially like that few people have heard of it or are using it in my area. With allowing people to try it many people like it but some don't like the weight being high in the paddle. I would recommend trying it. But it's a tough task. Hope this helped.
