In my opinion the Nittaku Moristo DF is a very good rubber for allround players and modern defenders.
For few years I used it on BH so I could really recommend it.
It has a huge control, moderate speed and decent spin.
This combination allows you to block balls easily and play precise returns exactly where you like on the table. It also allows you to attack when you want a smooth move from defense to offense.
Moreover, the durability of this rubber was very, very good.
To sum up, my rating for Nittaku Moristo DF (in scale 1 to 10) is:
Speed = 8,0
Spin = 8,5
Control = 9,2

If you can find it, buy and try. That is very good rubber.

good rubber for backhand, for me is good for block, push, n' smash...
Nice also to looper...
not only for defensive player, attacker player can use too...
do not hesitate to try it, you will like the character of this rubber...

Fast rubber for deference in my opinion.
I'm have used these two defensive rubber on my Joo Se Hyuk blade.
Before using Moristo DF 1.5mm, I have played with Tackinnes Chop II 1.7mm.
After playing 1 month with Moristo DF, I will go back to Tackinnes Chop II again, because it is the best defensive rubber on the market today!!!
Prons:
1)speed. It will be good rubber for modern-defense player,who attack more often than chop the ball.
Tackinnes Chop II 1.7mm was much slower than Moristo DF 1.5mm.
2) durability is good
3)price
Cons:
1)less control while chop,because of the speed of the rubber.
2) generates much less spin than Tackinnes ChopII
