A beginner to intermediate level player, after scrolling a hell lot of reviews on internet on many websites for a one of the best possible budget setup ordered TBSW with Fast arc G1 on FH and Barcuda on BH. The overall Setup costs around $120 as in 2024. Very excited to get it delivered and will update more after some play.
Can check my profile for one of best budget equipments , after all my time spent just sorted some best possible equipments. Though everyone will suit different their own play style but they are surely among the best budget setups based on vast reviews on internet.

This is a great blade. Great straight grip for big hands, absorbs sweat well. Balanced towards the head. The head is not too big as other people write here. It does not require grinding - reducing the geometry because it will lose balance and power - due to weight loss. If you want to change something in the blades, grind the wings and that will be enough to adjust the hand to the grip. The blade combined with medium hard rubbers gives very good rotation, e.g. with tibhar mx-s or fx-s. The blade has a lot of power, but because it is flexible it does not throw the balls off the table, giving a good flight parabola. This is not a blade for beginners, but intermediate players will find a great teacher in it to improve their skills. High quality at a relatively low price. At this price you will not buy a better blade, and some more expensive ones are weaker...
This blade does it all! I am an controlled attacker/ counter attacker and love this blade. It has enough speed to be used on balls away from the table and enough control to play short game i used mine with neo hurricane 3 2.1 on fh and xiom omega IV pro 2.0 on bh and this is the best combination for me.
my racket from 500 Rating to 1100 Rating for 11 month, I guess it's good for newbies by its budget friendly
As advertised! This blade delivers on every aspect of the game! Looping, blocking, pushing and flips, it does it all! It has tremendous feel and balance and the larger grip fits my mitts perfectly! Great job Tibhar!
The Tibhar Stratus Power Wood is a 5-ply OFF- blade composed of Limba top and secondary plys with an Ayous core (Limba-Limba-Ayous-Limba-Limba). This blade construction is the same as Butterfly Petr Korbel, Donic Waldner Senso V1, Galaxy M4, Joola K5, and Xiom Maximus and variants. Tibhar does an excellent job on build quality for the SPW with a sanded handle, wings and smooth top-plys. The SPW weighs in at 90 grams and is 6.2mm thick. The head size measures 151.5mm x 158mm making this blade a little larger than blades from other mainstream manufactures.
This blade has a medium hardness and stiffness. This blade produces a feel that solid, but not overwhelming. The feeling is more solid than a Stiga OC which has tremendous vibrations but feels muffled, but is not like a Butterfly MMaze which has vibrations that are more precise. This blade has more dwell than composite blades that allows for power to be generated and is more forgiving.
After hitting with this blade for about 4 days, during training sessions and matches, several items of interest have stood out when using this blade. For speed, I would say that it is not OFF- but squarely OFF. It has enough juice to make the ball go. Before trying out the Tibhar SPW I tried the Stiga Allround Evolution. I liked the dwell, but it took a little more effort to get the ball to go. I wanted something faster than the AE, but slower with more dwell than the Butterfly MMaze. Using Donic Barracuda on both sides, this blade has excellent power and control due to the amount of dwell it has. The SPW will spin soft balls, but when you crank it, the ball goes. The thickness of the blade gives it umph, while the outer plys give the blade good touch. For service game, the SPW is not bouncy so balls will stay low on pushes. Although the blade's head is big, it feels balanced.

To moja pierwsza ofensywna deska. I mog? powiedzie? ?e jest super kontrola przy w miar? du?ej szybko?ci. Wygl?d i chwyt super. D?wi?k te? ok. Oglnie polecam desk? .
Have cycled 2 of these blades for some time. Keeping the previous seasons rubbers on until they are replaced. I upgraded to the power wood from a slower control blade. This offers more offense whilst retaining the touch. Happily rate this as off-. Recomended.
Despite being a 5-ply wooden blade, it's not for beginners. Stratus Power Wood is pretty hard to control. Besides, larger head size leads to larger size of rubbers when cut and thus weight increase. I don't say it's a bad blade, but I was wrong to choose it as my first blade a few years ago. If you're starting out, go for somethig All+, Off-, something like Nittaku Septear Lead.
Off-
Probably, the best of Tibhar.
But, I wish Tibhar make a litlle bit of change in handle (bigger) & head shape (smaller), then I'll use it forever!

Great felling and huge among of control, very good blade for the price, works very well
After first sesion I must say I'm very suprised with controll :) With nice speed (I would say faster than DONIC WSC) this blade has impresing controll. I used Donic Baracuda and S3 rubers - glued with two layers of "fresh" Swedex (because head is bigger than my oder blades, so I need to pump up litlle rubbers) and I still can play with good accuracy.
More after next sesions.
update:
With the new setup weight of my racket is 201g :) because of bigger head and heavy victas rubber.
But to the point: controll and nice speed thats what I can say after few weeks.

Blade is 6.2mm. 5ply Limba-Limba-Ayous-Limba-Limba apparently. Had one at 92g~ (fairly standard) and sold it - would rate it solid OFF. Loved it so bought another at 87g - making it a fraction slower. Speed is a touch faster than my previous Joola Rossi Emotion (thin carbon) and BTY TB ZLF but noticeably slower than Joola MC1 I've used. Somewhat like the Nittaku Tenor I've tried, but with better control, flex and sound IMO, also very slightly slower. I also prefer the speed, feel, sound and control of TSPW more than my old Primorac Off-, however it's way faster than that. Very versatile, great for looping, hitting, flicking or almost anything you like. Tried with 2x Vega Europe MAX (Total weight 178.5g) and loved it. I disagree with those saying it isn't head heavy, however I prefer lighter to medium weighted setups. It's a similar weight to many OFF wooden blades of this configuration, which I also find head heavy. It's a personal preference thing, and this is only relevant to someone wanting a lighter setup. I sanded 2mm of top and wings and found it perfect after that, but would not suggest doing this. If learning to master good technique and generate your own power I'd suggest something slightly slower, to avoid detrimental reliance on equipment. It has PLENTY of power if/when required and is one of the best I've used though. It would be worth 2-3 x times the price if it were branded Nittaku or Butterfly etc. Can't go wrong for the price, fantastic blade! Was <$30 USD~ on special.
I just bought one glued with MX-S max and FX-P max from TableTennis11. It's heavy. It's very heavy. It is very head heavy. It is heavier by far than my heaviest racket so far. It is heavier than my grandmother with an iron bed. If you are a wrestler, it might be your dream, though. Others may do a simple flick a second later than with other rackets. It is 189-190 gramms. Have to peal off the fresh rubbers, sand off near to a centimeter from the blade's top and some millimeters from its sides as suggested in a similar review here, glue back, cut, smear, curse, glue, cut, glue, press, wait, and all kind of that. I'm really disappointed. Cannot tell more about it for now.
90g, big head. Big fl handle, good quality built. Good wood feeling. Nice click sound when smash. Loud wood sound compare to all my blade. This allwood blade is easy to use if compare to alc or zlc, this wood has more flex, more vibration that give feeling to control the ball. Performance worth the price and quality. The blade that everyone should try, like pg7. Recommend to everyone. If u dont like this blade just sell it, little loss only because cheap.
My main blade and one of the best values in table tennis equipment. I paid $35 with a discount and I like it more than any of the $150+ blades that I own. Limba/Limba/Ayous construction. My blade is 87g and 6.2mm thickness. Head size is slightly larger than standard for those that like to switch cut rubbers between blades. Head heavy which I like for increased spin in serves, flicks, and loops. Similar to the Xiom Offensive S and Butterfly Petr Korbel but a little stiffer and faster. Great balance, great control, good speed for a 5 Ply wood blade. Id place the speed at the higher end of Off- or the lower end of Off. You really cant go wrong with this blade. I chuckle when I see people describe this as a beginners blade. While beginners could use this blade with control rubbers, this blade has ample speed and performance for 95% of amateur players when paired with an attacking rubber. And 95% of amateur players would play better with this vs their faster, less feeling composite blade. This is a well rounded, do everything well wood blade with enough flex for looping and enough stiffness for good directional control. Great blade for a fair price. Highly recommended.
The best blade ever!!!!! Been using it from a while now and I've not faced any problems!! The speed is excellent and has amazing control!!! The ball doesn't slip at all!!!!!!! The grip is good and the racquet will never slip from your hand!!!!! It's good for attack as it has a lot of speed and is also good for defence as it has amazing control ..... I'd recommend this blade for all players who have experience for at least 1 year as they can hit proper shots... I use DONIC DESTO F4 rubber for forehand and STIGA AIROC M for backhand.... This is an amazing combo as....YOU CAN READ IT IN MY REVIEW OF THESE RUBBERS!!!
This blade is not to fast. It has good dwell time. Nice light weight good finish. The head of blade is 1cm long than other blades. Handle has good grip.
excellent all wood blade, mine is 90g, but the blade is so well balanced it feels like i am playing with much lighter blade around 80g. i usually play with composite blade and can tell you its easy to adapt to this due its good speed, its off blade for sure. blade has very good throw and dwell time, making it good for loopers, actually you can perform everything pretty much including chop. highly recomended if you are thinking of useing wood blade for modern offensive game.
Slightly oversize paddle and has great flex and control. Mine was 85g, would recommend it. Not super fast away from the table but great control.
Muy buena, la verdad que s. Un acierto mucho control desde lejos y potencia suficiente en el bloqueo. Perfecto para loops.
Awesome blade! Doing everything u want, from smashes and long heavy loops thru spinny openings to short pushes and chops. Any error you may do in game surely won't be due to this blade. It just brought my game to next level!
pair SPW with medium hard tensors and it will make miracles for you :) this is the most ballanced blade i have ever played. it has the control of allround blades (you can even chop with it) but its main strength is ability to produce spin on power loops keeping great control and accurate placement. it is like much more controlled YEO or super powerful YE. ...aand if you miss a loop don't blame the blade. sure it is your fault ;)
EDIT: If you want powerful SPW pick up blade ~90 gr. lighter ones miss the solid feel and some high speed gears. my current SPW is 91 gr and it is clear OFF blade. heaviest one I tried was 95gr and it was much much faster than ALC 84 gr

It's a bit slow and less power, but it offers excellent control.
Very good for beginner.
Very good for beginner.
Very good allwood blade. I had previous lighter bat and less weighted to head, due to ligher blade and rubbers, but after some training sessions I accustomed to it. Weight (90g) ensures better control and blocks, but it is also brilliant in loops and from mid distance it has enough power with my cornileau rubbers. I have long fingers and handle is really smooth and big enough for me. when I look at it for the first time it looked really small because of oversized head. Simply pleasure to play with it.
This fast wooden blade gives perfect control. The responds for the power you put on it is very linear and consistent which is a great wooden feel.
This is an outstanding blade. Great control in the short game and it has a lot of power when hit, even from away from the table. Looping is brilliant producing heavy top spin. I like it with Tenergy 80 FH and 05FX BH. I have tried a lot of blades but this one is awesome, and the price is unbeatable.
My 4th purchased blade
This blade gives me better confidence on winning from my 2 rival players...
I agree to all d good reviews about this blade...
D only thing i don't like about this blade is d strange round shape of d blade...
but that just my personal dislike...
It gives me a better defense n better placing shots...
But my yinhe t11+ blade gives a better dictate tempo for fast play...
Update review :
Character of this blade is all around blade.
Easy to attack n defend from short to medium distance...
Great for looping style n smashing style...
High throw provide an easy play for looping n d blade provide an enough power for smashing (but not enough power to kill shot if u r facing an advanced player except if u have a brute force of power or using a fast bounce rubber n doing d right spot to hit d ball on d blade)
D blade gives a great control for placing the shot (so ull have ur main points from this category... Trading d power with d accuracy)

Bought this blade based on the 9.6 overall score...I asked for a light anatomic blade and got 84.2g. 85.2 after a thin coat of polyurethane & 2x coats on the edges. Thickness was measured at 6.15mm. Got Vega Pro 2.0 on FH + Moon Max on BH.
Quality is very good with wings nicely sanded. Blade looks much better in person. The anatomic blade fits nicely in palm but the thumb rest is a lot smaller than my friend's ST one.
My current main blade is T-11+ and I also have Primorac Carbon & PG-7. The Powerwood is the slowest among my collection by far. When you are hitting at <50% of your strength, the speed seems OK, but when you smash the ball hard, nothing really special happened; there is no carbon to catapult. The PG-7 was rated @ 9.0 speed but it felt considerably faster than the 8.9 on the Powerwood(the difference should be a lot >.1 or 1%). The manufacturer clearly classified the Powerwood as Offensive- and it's accurate. Even the control is superior on both the PG-7 & T-11+. Powerwood has an extra high throw but slower speed which does not fit my hard hitting style. Powerwood does generate more spin than T-11+ & PC but PG-7 is at least as good in the spin and better in looping. If you are an all around player who play close to the table and do not require high speed then this blade is fine; but if you are an offensive attacker who is looking for a wood blade then you either need to pair up with very fast+spin rubbers or I think PG-7 is better in every category than this blade. T-11+ also better in speed, control & weight except spin & looping. In summary, Powerwood is an OK blade, but I don't think this website's review of 9.6 is accurate, I am kind of disappointed.

This is one of the best 5-ply blades you can get at low price. Though it's rated OFF-, it's definitely not. Its much faster than other all wood 5-ply blades. And works well for consistent looping and counter-lopping near the table and at medium distances. If you play far away, you will have to pair it with fast rubbers. The blade has some flex which is pleasant to feel and helps controlled looping.
You can as well smash which will be so brutal to hear & see. I play offensive forehand and hence i had paired TSPW with Tibhar 5Q and Mark V for the BH. The handle is very comfortable for even people with large hands. If you look for an all wood 5-ply blade (Limba-Limba-Ayous-Limba-Limba), this is definitely recommended.

best blade for loopers as the blade gives high dwell time and thus the amount of spin generated is very high.
control of blade is very good and topspins are just perfect.

Good speed considering an all wood blade. Good directional control. More stiff than my previous blade YE. The ball feel on the blade is nice. Good for loops and block / push too. The balance on my blade is at the tip of the handle. The handle is of anatomic type.
very good blade, the best blade i ever use...very good control more than i expected from this price.
Softish feeling blade with relatively low flex. Acts amazing with Tensors and Tenergy. Great for topspin.
Headsize is a bit bigger than others, weight around 90 gr. Handle is very comfortable.

This is OFF or-OFF blade, really good for looping, and actually pretty much in everything, in every component of the game... close or far away from the table. I play with Rasant and Sigma Euro and this blade seems gets the best from both rubbers, it is definitely the best blade I've ever had...
I have played with several paddles now, as my game has evolved. By far, power wood is my favorite. It has good power and touch. The thing I love most about it is how big the sweet spot is, even balls hit off-center play the same. Awesome paddle for several playing styles
High quality full-woodblade which has a wonderful touch and very high precision, among the wooden blades i found it the best of its class, and for his price it is definetely worth the try. Pair it with 2 Andro rasants 1.9 and you have a match made in heaven, I can't see why you can't go for it.
FH:Hexer HD
BH:Donic X2
this blade is unpopular in Hong Kong, I can only get one at China. this brand is also very rare at local market, too.
the speed is about average compare to other 5 layer wood, eg. stiga rosewood XO...
control is very nice, because it can deliver the collision message clearly to the player, who can sense and adjust the collision angle and power instantly.
this is very nice blade for training .

The blade is heavier than 85g. Probably closer to 90 g. But that's a good thing if you are a looper. Definitely an offensive blade with very good feel. You can feel the ball bite into the blade with soft rubbers. Very solid feel during counterlooping. Flipping is easy, and I had no problems pushing. The handle is very comfortable. I honestly cannot find anything negative about the blade.
wow this blade is another surprise for me. i never knew you can buy good cheap blades... fantastic handle, nice and big enough for my hand and great control. bought this for $30 USD what a steal!! i like this almost as much as my very expensive Nittaku blades

This is a fantastic blade. I would rate it Off, but not Off+, I am surprised it is not used by more people given the very high ratings which are fully justified. It is a better version of Korbel, much better balance and with a thicker, more comfortable flared handle and is not head heavy. Excellent Offensive blade, short game and even chopping is quite easy, thanks to the head size which is slightly above average at 158 x 151mm. Controlled brush looping close to table or power looping away from table are both easy with this blade. Suitable with a wide range of rubbers, just pick the one you want for the style you play. Matches well with modern offensive rubbers, I am an aggressive allround/offensive player and use mine with Omega IV Pro, Max FH and 2.0 BH.

Best value for the price.Easy handling at short game, big dweel time for spin and enough speed for smashes.Only:this blade is OFF not OFF- declarated.Best Tibhar all wood blade.
Very nice blade with plenty of dwell time for looping and very good short game. Switched from XIOM Zetro Quad. Powerwood has even more control. I play with Tibhar Aurus on FH and Stiga Boost TX on BH, very nice combination.
It's the first day that I use this blade along with tibhar genius sound on both sides.
This combination is absolutely the best I have ever used.
this blade has great dwell time, great feeling great speed and control. This blade can do literally everything.
If you are looking for an offensive all-wood blade, I can't see why you don't go for it.

I have recently bought this blade with a combination of inverted rubbers (XIOM Vega Europe Max. on FH and Stiga Boost TS 2.0 on BH) - it is a perfect combination for me, good feeling, not very fast, but easy to make heavy topspins and other various offensive shots - even brutal smashes. Very good for an elegant offensive style. Dwell time is great, good weight, anatomic handle is pretty comfortable. I think it's a good value for money.
improved Korbel with stonger vibe and a more comfortable handle.
identical rubbers play the same way on the TSPW and the Korbel
very good value for money

Plays amazing with softer rubbers, such as the Stiga Boost TC. Dwell time is great and the speed is decent. Great for two-winged European style attackers.
