The following message (subject: Blade Feeling) was posted by Jeff, on 3/28/2005 9:23:19 AM:
What types of wood produce the best feeling blades? I see on some sites…..this blade has a soft feel or this blade has a hard feel and is very stiff. Balsa core (lighter and soft?, I presume?) Hinoki, limba, cypress, abachi plus, the non-woods….Texalium, Carbon, Arylate, Kevlar, etc. What material is doing what to the feel and performance of each blade? |
