Yves, I just took the 1.1 ratio from your answer :-)), I think the allowable ratio is 0.9. Last night (9 pm) I submerged my diesel oil processed feint long II ox rubber into DOP (Di Octyl Phtalate) liquid. The reaction was very slow, much different compare to the diesel fuel (the rubber start to swell within 20 minutes). In DOP liquid in the first 2 hour I could not see any development, so I left it submerged until this morning. The rubber developed a little bit, may be only 2-3%. And the smell of diesel fuel on it has also gone. So because I have to go to work then I took the rubber out of the DOP liquid, and washed it with water and soap, I plan to do the processing again to night. |
