I play just for fun and I don't also think it is legal. However, I just think that to put some chemical on the longpips rubber to get more spin reversal and more wobble effect is just the similar action with putting some chemical on the sponge of inverted rubber to get more speed and spin. I have interesting question, if the normal height of OX longpips rubber is 2 mm, then after being chemically processed the height will be 3 mm, and put it ontop of 0.5 mm sponge, will it still against the rules.? The rules said maximum height of sandwich rubber is 4 mm. |
