I totally agree, Dave. FH serve does offer a much wider arsenal of possible shots and the flow does feel more natural. But the consitancy of the serves didn't come as natural to me as it did with the BH.

I could consistantly produce legal BH serves the whole day long, while I kept missing the ball or the table or hitting the net with the FH. Since my only way to practice were the matches themselves, I couldn't afford too many bad serves. Especially since we play doubles/pairs at least half of the time. You don't wanna pi**-off your senior playing partner with back-to-back missed serves ;)

But Dave, you misunderstood me - I'm sticking with the forehand this time. Let's see what happens. Perhaps I'll get kicked out of the basement and will be forced to join a club or something ;)
