I have tried normal Bryce on the FH glued and it was very good. I guess the FX has different sponge. The only reason I stopped using it was when peeling the glue after a month the sponge was to soft and I ended up with a glue ball full of bits of expensive sponge, therefore it didn't seem to last as long.
Was that 29 matches or 29 games?
I didn't start playing tournaments myself until I was 42.
I don't know whether our ranking systems are compatible but I remember my 1st rating was 927 points. But by the end of the 1st season it was 1659.
Since then it has gradually increased as I have improved, the highest its been is 2760. The problem is once you reach your true rating its much harder to win points but very easy to lose them. I would say I enjoyed it more when I was on the way up as it gives you something to aim for.
At the start of this season I was on 2560 but am playing fairly well and have gone to 2670.
As for age I think I'm probably fitter at 50 than at 40.
