TENERGY 05 has a unique feeling using a combination of Spring Sponge technology, High Tension rubber and a tacky surface. It is excellent for imparting a great deal of spin on the ball. 05 in the name was adopted from Pimples Code No. 5. Tenergy 05 enables a full range of topspin play at or away from the table. It keeps its explosive power throughout the life of the rubber without the use of speed glue or boosting. Tenergy 05 is very popular among world-class table tennis players. European Champion Timo Boll uses Tenergy 05 on forehand and backhand.
• Please use Free Chack II when you apply Tenergy to a blade. • Tenergy is a highly delicate product. We recommend you protect the rubber surface with rubber protective film after a match or practice. • Tenergy Family Rubbers, realize your more!

I came back into table tennis after a 9 years break. I played 1 month with mark V, and were very frustrated with it. Then, i took a T-05 for FH, and had more pleasure in 1-hour-training than in 4 weeks with mark V (i play 80% of the balls in forehand and topspin litterally everything that bounces behind the table). I recommend it for offensive players, on a ALL+ or OFF- blade.

This rubber is good at the begining but it is litteraly a catapult I kinda like it on my FH but hate it on my BH it just rockets away. It is also very sensitive and not really durable i recommend Dignics 05 it is expensive but trust me it will last longer and you have more control

This rubber needs no introduction. I would just put pros and cons which I could understand while playing with this rubber on my FH. Pros - Good speed, very good for looping from mid distance, rubber characteristics holds well for moderate play over long period, spin is good if you know how to engage the sponge as ball deeps and sprung immediately because of tension. Cons - Bounciness causes difficulty in handling short balls, durability issues, blocking is good only if you are able to adjust angle particularly spiny loops. Its very good rubber, if you are able to use it wisely and also need lot of practice to use its full potential

It is a very special rubber, but you need to be precise with it at all times. Very good for Backhand. It behaves really well on stiffer blades with harder outer ply, both BH and FH side. This rubber will always reward you for your brushing motion with good spin. Its not the best for flat hits, smashes, but it is very decent. You need to be quick and precise with your banana flicks only then they are of a good quality. Hard for me to find flaws with this rubber. It can get hard to control on very fast outer carbon blades due to bounce. If you are super hard smasher I think you would be better of with Tenergy 05 Hard, which also gives better control in a short game than regular 05 and FX. The topsheet of Ten05 has tightly organized pimples so it is harder to penetrate than others, but thanks to that it is more direct. Fast brushing movement is what you need to get most out of this rubber. I find it hard to bottom out on BH, you really need to put a lot of power to feel you've reached the wood. It is really stable to me on BH counter topspin. You can use it on FH aswell, but it can be 2 soft if you wanna hit hard. To me Ten05 pairs really well with Chinese rubbers that are 2/3 degrees harder on ESN scale than Ten05. Good rubber.
