The origin of the word Tenaly means “it becomes the hand”. This handle is designed ergonomically to make the blade an extension of the player, for the most natural angle of wrist, hand, and forearm to the head of the blade. The curve of the handle to one side is very comfortable and effective for the penhold grip as well as the shakehands grip. This 5-ply all-wood blade is great for the offensive player and quick allround player.

Corrects a lot of problems with grip especially if you have any wrist issues or previous injuries. I would imagine wheelchair players would benefit from the handle design also.

I have used the original tenaly for a year now and it is the best blade for control and placement. I love the ergo handle which makes it easy to topspin and backhand flick. It took a few months for me to really get used to the handle but afterwards I feel like it is an extension of my arm. With the high control, it is easy to hit a soft shot or strong topspin anywhere on the table. Changing from forehand to backhand is also much easier than the normal handle. I have tried several other blades with carbon such as the Timo Boll Spirit but those blades are too fast as I hit a higher percentage off the table. I would not change back to the normal handle now.
